I am in search of a physical game shop in KL area where they sell original xbox360 PAL or Region Free games. I am from the Netherlands, living in KL...I brought my European (PAL) xbox360 along to play here.

Now I also brought my own games, but with ODST coming soon I really need to buy that game over here ..

Are there any shops that sell PAL or region free Xbox360 games?

If not, could i simply order at Play Asia or some gameshop like that, and have it delivered here in KL (is that reliable enough nowadays?)..

Hard to get PAL games here. since most xbox 360 are from singapore and korea which is NTSC. rarely see PAL consoles here. can only hope the games are region free. I think play-asia stock asian and US games. i don't see PAL games listed. maybe it is easier to buy a new NTSC console and sell it off when going back to your homeland. custom order from gameshop are not recommended as they might rip you off. anyway it's very hard to buy original xbox 360 games here as pirated copies are widely available. there are people selling original xbox 360 games but the selection is not as great and varied as PS3's selection.

I'm a foreigner here too and i ordered my games and stuff through play-asia using my local address here. No problem so far...

It's a good alternative if you can't find what you're looking for in KL.. But it's KL, its not like Penang,,,I'm pretty sure you can find one there...
But don't ask me where,,I also don't know...

Hmm..so far Halo3 ODST isn't available as region free (preorder) at play-asia.com. Going to check for more online shops. Anybody has any suggestions where to find online shops here in Asia that sell these region free games...

Before buying a new console (which I'd rather not); i want to know my options...these look pretty slim right now

Perhaps I'd ask my mother if she could send a game to my address over here...

I think you misunderstood, when a game from a region is not region it means it won't be region free no matter where you got it from. IF PA listed US/JP version ODST as not region free, then worldwide US/JP ODST would not be region free, there's no way around it.

Well if that game is region free then you could have played it on your PAL 360. But I have no idea on the reliability of that site, especially since the games hasn't even been released yet.

I will however ask my mum to send it over..perhaps that's more easy for me..

hey, i want to know where can i get PAL games too. I bought my 360 in UK and next month i will finish my study here and will go back to malaysia. Dikkie, what kind of experience do you have with them? ever buy anything from them? no problem so far? seems interesting.

Seriously, sell it before you come back (if for good that is).

Dats the problem with x360 its the region issue if warranty is over why not mod it so its region free, but online play is an issue unless ur a ofline gamer.

They get most games by launch, and they also have those stickers on the games which tell what kind of region can play it.

jasper set is the newest chip in xbox360...all previous one are prone to 3rod lol
