Dell inspiron 7559 prices are up!
The price for i7 is so tempting lo!
Of course the downside is the QHD display, 7hrs battery life and weight.

Dont choose QHD if you want gaming, 960M is not capable for it. Except you really like lower the setting.
FHD is good choice, and you wont feel the different on 15" LCD

Noticed about it.
what about the CPU? any significant difference on the threads and L3 cache variance?
*
Not very sure.

But i5 6300Q and i7 6700HQ both also quod core, just i7 having HT so it will show octa core.
For daily tasking, normally you only using single core which remaining is shut down to save the battery.

Except you doing task like encoding so multicore will be significant different.

I not sure does this apply to gaming or not, FPS different for 6300HQ & 6700HQ

i7 is good buy since only extra RM 500
but 960m seems use a lot power, unless dell malaysia offer full hd + i7 then I will go for it
right now I stick to i5 skylake, full hd better biggrin.gif
*
true, I also believe FHD is better to pair with 960m
7Hr batter life is much better than a lot mainstream gaming pc like GE62 / Y50 / Acer Nitro

but, on that budget I think it is the best
you pay what you get haha
just no idea why dell malaysia don't want bring i7 full hd non touch version cry.gif

if you still can wait, many manufacture is refresh to skylake. Middle of Nov shall be good to decide.

Eg : Acer Nitro, MSI GE/PE series, Lenovo Y50/70 series & Custom building like illegear

My 7559 battery may last 7-8hr i5 processor. Only when doing word, some internet browsing and no heavy application for processor.

ANyone tried using DDR3L 1866Mhz in their 7559? How was it?

You wont notice the different as well, stick with stock with stability
