Basicall you had someone instal it for you, correct?

I have always had the understanding that if you add internal parts, you are voiding the warranty. Guess I will check with Dell before purchasing it.
*
mind explain why you will think upgrade ram or ssd will void warranty ? blink.gif

i used to own 7447 but stolen last week. now i dunno which model to go for. tbh i like the color of 7xxx model but 1 big let down for me is the wifi issue. i need to buy usb adapter since its super crapp on 7447.

so 7566 and 7559 dont have the same issue? planning to buy another 1 but i dont really like the design of 7566.
*

QUOTE(Mr.Wang @ Jan 5 2017, 04:21 AM)
I got the new 7566 direct from Dell online, the highest specs i7, 256ssd + 1tb HDD, 8gb RAM, UHD IPS Anti-glare, and the usual GTX 960m 4GB GDDR5. Only Black colour is available for the UHD.

In terms of normal use like 1080p Youtube and movie, not much noise. Only when editing/play back 4K contents the fans start to kick in intermittently. I mean not always in turbo mode like when playing demanding games.

I recently bought a laptop cooling pad with double 14mm fans. Initially I thought it won't decrease the laptop heat significantly. Oh boy...I was wrong. At least now with the cooling pad, editing/playing 4K contents won't make the laptop heat up easily.

As for game, I've yet find the time to download and install games from my Steam libraries. My guess is that it won't differ much from 7559. But I will try to play games like Rise of the Tomb Raider, GTA 5, etc. to judge.

And about the screen, many people say the 7566 with the 1080p version has a TN display. That if half true. If you direct order from DELL, the latest batch uses the IPS panel for the 1080p display. This is confirmed by someone working inside Dell Malaysia. I said half true because some people might buy from somewhere else and ending up with the TN display batch. And the backlight for the Malaysia version is white, not Red as advertised in the Dell Malaysia website. Misleading...

No WiFi issue. I updated the Win 10 Pro, BIOS, and other drivers to the latest the first thing.

I'm wondering if you guys use any external cooling solutions or just depends on the laptop's internal cooling?
*
not true, those display issue, depends on batch produce by Dell ODM factory , not by retailer nor dell online malaysia

Hi guys, anyone still active here?

Got a question? You think buying a laptop from an unauthorized seller in digital mall trust worthy?

Because im in talks about a dell inspiron 7567

i7-7700HQ
8gb ram
128gb ssd
1T HDD
GTX 1050 ti (not sure how much vram)
Display (not sure TN or IPS panel)
Price he offer Rm4,000.

Does it look legit? or the price is too good to be true? Just researching before i make a purchase.
Is it possible for these sellers to take apart a laptop and put in their own hardware to reduce the price?
*
rm 4000 only ? 1 year shop warranty ? confirm is refurbish unit

Yeah Rm4,000 only. I asked about warranty and he's telling me its a 2 year dell warranty. So you think its a good deal? or if you think its refurbish whats the risk with buying it?
*
unbelievable , if with i5 processor , possible abit

ask for services tag to check the warranty first

if AP refurbish set, no dell warranty leh...
