i'm hearing a lot of negativity about this inspiron laptop, especially the heat issue.. is it really that bad ?

just ordered my new inspiron 15r. now got offer free 2 years in-home service, so , extend to 3 years only need to pay rm130+ more.

dont know when will i receive it. nowadays how long aaa ?

regular 4gb ddr3 1333Mhz can fit to the new dell laptops right ? OR has to be specific brand or latency ?

got my inspiron 15r n5110 today, but without the belkin carry case. they said out of stock, so i asked to send them on separate DO ....

uh, anyone planning to buy a laptop with a view to replace the hdd with ssd much later on should avoid the new inspiron. i just found out that the hard disk is not directly accessible like other laptops where we just take out two screws and then simply pull the hard disk out. for this laptop the hard disk reside within the laptop construction, meaning you have disassemble it to take out the hard disk.....

no, no.. i haven't done anything to my N5110... haha... don't dare to open up the casing, scared later break clips here and there...lol .. so far the only thing i've done is open up the memory cover only lol...

i'm a user of the new inspiron 15R N5110. so far ok la, but i found that it starts heating up on graphic intensive application like 3d games. other than that it is perfect for my needs (i need to buy the usb-to-rs232 converter though, for work purpose).

if you think 15.6" is too large, you can opt for the 14" line up, but they can only go as far as core i5 though.

oh yes, ngkhanmein, i found this video that can be a reference on how to disassemble an inspiron laptop. the video shows different model but i think they have the same built.
