Starting price 800 bucks in the US. but judging by the xps price here, we might have to multiply by 5 to estimate the pricing here sweat.gif

Pretty awesome laptop, only issue is the hard drive, whether we can install an M.2 and normal HDD or only got space for one, and the wireless AC is only single spatial stream.

XPS so awesome, got triple spatial stream cards...the only one on eart currently. ..damn.....
*
No idea, as tech hypermart start selling it already on their website
Dos version just 3.4k and claim is ori set
So might cheaper compare to xps laugh.gif
As for m2 slot, yes it has one, kindly check its service manual smile.gif

hem. no idea how tech hypermart get source or so.

according to info by Dell Malaysia, Inspiron 15 7000 series there is no confirm in spec nor in price yet.

Personally pretty crushed on that XPS 15. 4K 15.6" screen on a 14" body shocking.gif
*
just hope there is a lowest spec version with dos selling in Malaysia laugh.gif
as for xps 15 totally overkill, Dell Malaysia should bring full hd with non touch version hmm.gif

*
Wow no dos version, really curious how the tech hypermart got it rclxub.gif
And do please tell Dell Malaysia bring the lowest spec version (skylake i5) and lowest spec with dos version as well smile.gif

Just checked with them, will take 3-4 weeks for delivery sad.gif
and price releasing date still unknown....
*
Check with who ?
Base on the price from dell US website, I predict price around 3.5k for lowest spec (i5, full hd non touch)

QUOTE(arslow @ Oct 20 2015, 08:23 PM)
Ffffffuuuuuuuu that's like the 3rd week of November or something!! cry.gif

Damn, the only good thing out of this is that we will have more laptops to compare to, since by then sure got other laptops from Lenovo Acer and asus out with the same price range.

I'm still secretly hoping for a nice skylake k501lx tho tongue.gif
*
But asus after sales totally sucks laugh.gif
Yet k501lx only gtx 950m ddr 3 tongue.gif

I checked with Dell Malaysia, hope they can do better on the delivery time, need a laptop so much for work.
About the price, I presume it will not be too far away from lelong/techhypermart.

Besides, new Dell XPS will launch by this Thursday/Friday, with price or not? No idea.

True about Asus or etc, better choose brand with good after sales service, no point to take the risk since there is a better choice around.
*
wow how you check with them ? don't even start selling also can ask delivery laugh.gif
and right now don't even know the price, dell malaysia website only put the 7559 page sweat.gif
I last week ask them regarding when start selling inspiron 7559, they told me to chat this week, then I end the chat
as for delivery, I think worldwide also running out of stock due to demand laugh.gif

for dell xps 15, price we already know, RM 6699 according to lowyat.net said about it
refer here

You have to be really unlucky to get an asus laptop with issues. Mine lasted 4 years without any issues, and my bro is using it now.

Lake easy have two gaming rigs, so actually I was only aiming for a gtx950, but a 960 would be a bonus....

Battery life is more important tho...
*
Haha no idea as I didn't own any asus laptop laugh.gif
But most of my friends using asus laptop, those who have issue also said their after sales service very sucks
Few years ago my friend his n55 model can't on, asus SC staff told him will order the motherboard from taiwan, but my friend wait for 2 months only get back his laptop

As for skylake, yeah is easy to have skylake, but I prefer graphic card is gddr 5
As for processor, best is HQ as U is low power mode biggrin.gif

For me battery life I not much care about it since I just bring to college for study purpose, break time then only play games or surf internet
As long as can achieve 4 hours and above I very happy already biggrin.gif

Dell inspiron 7559 prices are up!
The price for i7 is so tempting lo!
Of course the downside is the QHD display, 7hrs battery life and weight.
*
if got full hd + non touch i7 skylake I definitely buy
but the price really tempting, RM 3999 vs RM 4499
500 bucks difference got i7, UHD and touchscreen drool.gif

Very true.
I'm checking with them on the screen, don't know what kind of panel it is for the QHD.
FHD is IPS.

So do you think i7 is good buy too?
It came with extra 4 threads and extra 2mb L3 cache comparing to i5.
*
i7 is good buy since only extra RM 500
but 960m seems use a lot power, unless dell malaysia offer full hd + i7 then I will go for it
right now I stick to i5 skylake, full hd better biggrin.gif

true, I also believe FHD is better to pair with 960m
7Hr batter life is much better than a lot mainstream gaming pc like GE62 / Y50 / Acer Nitro
*
but, on that budget I think it is the best
you pay what you get haha
just no idea why dell malaysia don't want bring i7 full hd non touch version cry.gif

if you still can wait, many manufacture is refresh to skylake. Middle of Nov shall be good to decide.

Eg : Acer Nitro, MSI GE/PE series, Lenovo Y50/70 series & Custom building like illegear
*
MSI I not interested due to windows button at right side of keyboard
other than that is fine
and I can't wait anymore already, no laptop right now for my college life cry.gif
