Errr....what you mean by ddr4 bro?

if you mean the graphic, it pack with GTX 960M 4GB GDDR5.
if you mean the ram, it only supports DDR3 ram.

The battery life never perform what the advertisement says. 8-10 hours? no.
6.xx hours, if i turned on the battery saving mode.
4.xx hours, if i no turned on.

But mine plug in with a m2 ssd 1280.
The battery life still 4.xx hours if no battery saving mode.

fyi,
my spec is i7 but no 4k touch screen.

You mean your M2 SSD costs RM 1280? That is really expensive.

i got the intel 540s SSDĀ  from 3rd party with 5 years warranty.

You dont need to buy from DELL. you can buy it outside.

But won't removing the back cover and placing it in your laptop void the warranty?

Basicall you had someone instal it for you, correct?

I have always had the understanding that if you add internal parts, you are voiding the warranty. Guess I will check with Dell before purchasing it.

mind explain why you will think upgrade ram or ssd will void warranty ? blink.gif

Adding internal parts, in my understanding, does not usually bode well with companies. They would prefer to sell you the internal parts themselves, to make profit, which is understandable. My family used to own a few Dell desktops and laptops, and I remember (vaguely) asking them this question a long time ago.
