Hi..got problem with my laptop. I can feel current flow (something like static) at the palm rest and the lid. Sometimes i got shock at the edge of palm rest while typing. Its so annoying. I dont know what is the problem. I already contact Dell technician and on thursday, he came and changed nearly everything; mobo, heat sink, palm rest. It was ok for one night but then the problem come back. Does anyone had problem like this before?

Hi guys, just bought new Dell Inspiron 15" 3000 here.Just for review here, this particular model i use mostly for working and some light gaming (by light i mean really low setting). GeForce 820m is not for gaming actually, but still would be able to handle most game with the lowest setting, or at least playable. Specs are Intel i5-4210U, 4GB DRR3 ram, GF820m, 1TB 5400rpm hdd. Come with 2 year pro warranty.

yes it is i7, but compare to i7-4710hq or above, u series only half of the performance of the i7-4710hq, but if you only use for normal usage like surfing and light gaming, it is ok, but for convert video and other heavy task, better go for 4 cores 8 threads.

still got different, i7 u series have almost same performance as i5-4210H, i5 u series i think is lower than that, processor that come with u in the end of the name mean it is a less electric consumption, normally use in ultrabook, so the battery can last longer up to 3 hour usage, but mq or hq series is different, it is design for performance, high electric consumption, battery hardly up to 3 hour, that is the difference.

choose it depend on your need, normal work like word and excel, uni stuff or etc, i7-u series is more than enough, it is also ok for casual gaming like dota 2, but for advanced games like GTA 5, it is a little bit heavy for it(i think i7 u series still can handle it, but for the latest games incoming in 2015,it is better to choose hq or mq series although it is a bit overkill for now, but it can handle the thing for next few year without left behind)

it is my personal opinion la, pls advise me if got anything that i am wrong stated

bro... In term of performance wise i7 actually more energy efficient... I think energy efficiency more accurate... i5 n i3 might consume less electric but the amount of time there got wastage ma..

sry.. bro I should use energy efficiency not energy saving

other brand got, go google, but below 3 k with hq series mean it cut down the cost in graphic card, it wouldn't give you a very good one (for the best graphic card in this range i think is GTX 850m DDR3)
