Any opinion on the new Dell Inspiron 14" 7490?
Seems like value for money if buying the 16GB with MX250 version.

Sounds good on paper, with bigger battery too. But still need wait for reviews. Safe to say that it's a good model (Inspiron 7000 series in general), however for that price I would go for business grade laptops

A T490 with the MX250? about 500g heavier compared to the Inspiron 14.

I'm contemplating between the Inspiron 14 and X1 Carbon (which has no GPU)

What difference would the MX250 make?

The MX250 in Inspiron 7490 is probably 10w variant given its size

Business grade>consumer grade

dGPU only useful in GPU load like games, for normal use Intel iGPU is sufficient

Heck due to the poor cooling of modern laptops these days the discrete GPU sometimes can perform worse than an integrated one sweat.gif

Hi guys,

I got an Inspiron 3480. This laptop is using HDD. This laptop is very new and it slows like hell. Is it that all HDD on a Win10 will perform that slow. Or is it Dell only?

Anyone can advise?

Anyone have experience of changing the wifi adaptor of Inspiron 7567?

Mine seems to be faulty and having frequent disconnection.

Where I can find replacement or possible upgrade it to something better?

Thanks

Hi, is those in factory outlet worth it?
Aimed two models and checked with their chat today, one returned previously due to battery issue - cant turn on previously, and another is cosmetic issue, side palm rest colour peel off abit.
Should i go ahead to buy it?
