A carefree guild might work, since most of us are just rewinding after work, and from the paper, GW2 quests operates like mini events in game where everyone who participate gets reward rather than the traditional MMO group forming and stuff, guild just makes playing with locals easier.

Well, the preorder beta is not that far, I doubt Anet will run a witch hunt just to purge them(which will take some resources), the disclaimer is usually to deter some unsavory special cases, if you didn't spill anything after saying your in it, I guess they will let you off this time.

I gravitate towards Sylvari or Human for race, as for profession even though I played Monk in GW1, I'm not too fond of Guardian tho, now it's in limbo between Necromancer, Engineer and maybe Elementalist.

Additional Character Slots and Slot Bag seems to be the more important options, I wonder if people want to sell their wares via the megaphone, or what if theres too many megaphone announcements going off at once.

The guy who wrote Blizzard's Battlenet netcode is in Arenanet, just so you know, the first GW's net performance is quite acceptable.

I assume the Downloader works like GW1's, it will resume where you left off/stopped.

The number of files remaining decreases as your download is running.

GW does not work like your usual MMO, if there is update, they will just overwrite the affected files, its not new client .exe to DL the whole thing again thingy, btw the music is cool on the menu.

Debit card should work for the pre-purchase, just make sure you have enough moolah when the transaction goes.

Hmmm, isn't getting into the closed beta server(old client) trending towards the forbidden territory? kinda risky for 60-80USD.

NCsoft is the MMO publisher, Aion is made by a different team/studio under NCsoft with CryEngine, GW2 is made by Arenanet using their own engine.

I got the $60, tho I haven't register the $60's key yet, doh, now I'm thinking of the $80 one, the elite skill is permanent, tho later you will want other elite skill in your bar rather than the wolf I presume, it should make early game easier with a pet still.
