anyway, folks can join and represent many guilds so there is a certain amount of flexibility there i believe.

What he said, there's no need to serve under 1 flag. The only thing you wanna think about is where you want to put your most influences points, but thats not a big thing if other members do it!

hmm right, that function... but I guess it is better to stay contribution in one guild to earn points for guild items hmm.gif unless the point is too easy to earn or those item are too useless... maybe they make different guild different item, random? hmm.gif hmm.gif interesting.

-- Edited, yeah you gain influence points on contents like, PVP, solo-ing, events, wvwvw and instance dungeon by representing under that guild you selected.

is the file save in Users -> [User Name] -> My Document -> Guild Wars 2

* I am using Win. 7
* It is empty though, when I typing this reply
* and I run the .exe W/O extracting it out (2x click by opening it with WinRar)
good to see you spent your time on clearing all the doubts we are having here ...
you need to extract it out

The folder contain
gw2.exe
gw2.tmp
Gw2Stream.dat ( this is the file that store all the content )

after extracting run gw2.exe from the folder

Will there be a boxed version of this game available in our local stores?

Kind of a weird question but I heard somewhere that it might not be on shelves outside of North America.

Thanks biggrin.gif

Boxed editions are collector's edition. The rest are digital downloads. Reducing cost =| , + i think their client is still using the same GW1 mechanism, stream what is necessary. However if you still wish to download one whole shot, just make a shortcut and put -image at the end. Just make sure to remove it when you're playing.

Our main source of electricity is hydro and not coal/nuclear, so we are saving the world (of warcraft!!)

/troll

EDIT: ops, according to wikipedia, it seems we are on oil/gas more than hydro, trollolololol. or is it thermal, wikipedia entry is confusing sweat.gif
