Yea, i heard online game company allocated 30% of their budget hire a team of internet surfer to track nda violater,
they will track your screenshot, match the name, and time, trace ip, and will email to admin of your isp to request for your personal info..

or even if u posted in forum say omg im in beta u are DEAD!.. i tell u.. .they will track u down to LYN, email moderator ,email LYN staff for your personal email address, then called up tmnet or your isp for confirmation.

Gosh... I tell u man, they are like CSI... they dont just spend their precious time debugging code, and make a better game.. Tracking down beta tester is no doubt one of their highest priority. This is why website such as betacake or those leaker website are not IPO yet.

I saw they hire a huge bodyguard to beat up people with zoom camcorder, so they leak info during their roadshow.

i believe that arena net will not ban people breaching the non disclosure agreement.
the most arena net can do is to revoke the beta access of the people who breached the nda.

but i am confident that arena net will not do that one lor.
why kill off good source of free marketing and advertising?
if your product is gooding, why should you be afraid of people disclosing its contents?

i think the nda is there to make sure people spread the news and talk about the beta.
i.e. the more you restrict, the more you want to do it.

this reminds me of my early years when i kinda recall that my mum or dad told me, "don't play with your gugujiao"

for nda, it would be "you must not talk about guild wars 2 beta to anyone else"
so people would go "ooo? can talk to anyone else one hor? ok i will tell everyone!"
