a900 never officially marketed with weather seal, but it does survive in hardcore environment like one of the journalist for Dakar Rally experienced. rain, dust, sand, no prob.

but not sure whether the a850 has the same kind of body seal, after all it's priced way cheaper than it's elder brother.

If I could choose only one APS-C camera, it might be the A700 still, for the controls. However, the A550 is very, very tempting.

finalfantasty: The F42 can be used off-camera as a wireless slave. The F58 can be used on-camera to trigger wireless slaves but only on the A700/A850/A900.

sony? the onboard flash does not interrupt with the overall exposure, at least not on my a200. the pre-ADI sends out the information to the flashgun before the actual exposure is fired, so your onboard flash does not influence the final output, at least not in my shots.

according to what i shot, nopes. my pop up flash does not influence the end result. look at the shadows on the two images i've posted

for example; EXIF data intact.


*the shadows on the shirt is thanks to a secondary light source, for your information. primary is an f42 at 1/8 power in my left hand above the face at a 10 degree angle down.

The incident happened about 1 year ago to 1 of our Orange bros. Went to buy his CZ1680 lens from this shop in Sg Wang. After taking a good look at it, he told the salesman he will go ATM, take money n think about buying the lens. Actually he wanted to go off 1st coz that Jack fella hi pressure sales him to buy it. He needed a few minutes to think quietly whether he wants it or not. As he walked away, Jack came out from the counter n told him he will follow him to the ATM to take money n take him back to the shop to buy the CZ1680. Talk about high pressure sales technique. When sampai the ATM which is near the toilet our bro told Jack he's going to the toilet hoping Jack will pi55 0ff. But no, he even waited for him outside the toilet! Cant remember the details after that. I only remember that high pressure sales part.

Yesterday, I went to pudu plaza to buy some camera gear. Since I brought my camera, I drop by to a second hand shop and let them to quote the price. They said they will take them if I accept the price of below 100.

1D Mark 3 ranked at number 5 and D90 at number 14..

LOL dunno what kinda ranking criteria.  If it were really true, the Hasselblad owners will cry n Hasselblad factory can go tutup kedai oredi. 
Whagagagaga it may be some kinda funny ranking with weird results but number 6 makes me happy.     
If less than rm100 then better keep it in toilet for "product" shooting.
