well, the EXMOR-Rs are already in cybershots, which i am itching to try. they supposedly live up to expectations, so i'm having above average hopes for them.

i have had experience with the EXMOR-R handycams, and its obvious; if you are wearing night vision goggles and someone were to shine a torch at you, you'd be blinded too, which is why i'm waiting for the cyber-shot models which incorporate the sensor to get a tasting of it first.

kev da man: Yep as you see it DxO 5.3.4 makes the A900 look a lot better.

Er, what problems do Exmor R have with bright lights? Any links?

What I've seen so far is superb stuff. Excellent ISO1600 on a compact!

nickilala: The F20 is far more useful on the A850 and A900. Otherwise its only benefit to your A700 is that you have a tiny bounce flash which only bounces in landscape mode. The F58 is far more useful on the A700 - you get to use the F58 on camera to trigger other flashes on the A700/A850/A900. Of course, if you have only one flash, then you use the A700 pop-up to trigger the F58 off-camera.

Don't get the Cobra....it's really addictive  ....once you bought one sure want to get another one...I got 3 so far and want to add another...

Fuyoo.. Theres a photographer that came to my office for some wedding shoot.. I managed to check out his gears.. got me drooling.. A900 with a bunch  of unidentified lenses.. i keep staring at his f58 only.. lol.. of course there are others better to look at.. but.. heck thats my wish item for now.. later te lenses comes in..

Power of Sony! At last i can tell my manager that not all prophotograpers uses canon or nikon.. All u need is A900 =P

Wah now only rm7500. Plus the 70-200G at rm5700 will only come to rm13200. Sony pricing is pretty darn good now. Only thing I don't like is no Live View n HD Video. 

use a focusing chart to test if your lens is suffering from front/back focusing or not as it will be more accurate.
the AF might mis-focused sometimes due to the fact that the AF covers a large area (esp when u are focusing on a small piece of subject)...front/ back focusing will be more prominent when you are using the widest aperture and for this case f/1.4....

get ur lens fixed if it has the problem, else it will be very annoying..isnt it?
erh, having video is a plus for DSLR esp during vacation where you wana capture some special moments in video. imagine already carrying 1.5kg of gears, you wouldnt wana carry another camcoder and would love to do it with ur heavy gear some may say the quality sux and this and that, but as said it is a BONUS to have that feature
AFAIK, sigma 24-70 DG EX has gear stripping problems on alpha but I tot that HSM will prevent that problem happening...Yes?No?

Just wondering do you guys use the High speed memory card for ur camera? The sandisk Extreme III, the price seems high.. 8gb for rm 280 while d normal one just rm 200.

Does it actually make a difference? currently my A100 using Sony memory stick... when viewing photos r fast enough.. just when zoom 100% in ..like will lag 0.25 sec. not a big deal for me.. is Sony memory card consider high speed?

fully agree with u....  capacity does make diff in speed.....  i tested my a300 shoot burst mode w my old CF...  128MB & 512MB.....  they can read n write even faster than 8GB

hoya can consider high end.

so after i put CZ filter then i have CZ lens...

rm60 for 2500mah batts that tahan 1.5 years of usage in flash........I got no complains man. I scared to try exopensive batts oredi, all dissapointed me.

So, what you guys think about sony alpha?
