Ksano: No, the angle of view of the 50mm on APS-C is different from on the A850/A900.

50mm on FF takes not-wide and not-tele pictures. Just nice if you want to carry only one lens.

50mm on APS-C takes slightly telephoto portraits, equivalent to 50mm * 1.5 = 75mm on FF.

No dSLR manufacturer specifies their focal lengths to include the full-frame equivalent. Olympus for example has a 14-42mm F3.5-5.6 which is like a 18-63mm F3.5-5.6 on APS-C which is like a full-frame 28-84mm F3.5-5.6.

of course... but must confirm is it build specifically for APS-C sensor. Otherwise, the FF will go into APS-C crop mode.

I believe SAL50F1.8 is meant for APS cameras... no use on FF.

it's perform the same in APS-C body.. but on FF body, 50mm 1.4 will be 50mm.. APS-C mode will be activated and 50mm 1.8 will be cropped.. u'll get the same result as on APS-C body..

yup.. it's a DT.. so APS-C will be activated.. if use non-DT lens, we'll get the black round vignet..

I see the headlight of the car not so clear la. Try to clear up the headlight then it would be nice. Or pump up your aperture. Just my 2 cents. biggrin.gif
