but seriously i do suck at trackmania
if only i can drift properly

well at least for nfs shift, everyone will be sorta equal since everyone have the same pace adapting to the game
and u have more experience in sim racing games

amen to that trackmania for example can be learned, but mastering? a whole different monster. its so frustrating to practice with replays from people like gallo, razorbane, guykes and the rest. i started off without my drifting and i was around 10-15 seconds behind. when i could drift however i'm STILL more than 5 seconds behind QQ

its true, but i did enjoy prostreet, it was pretty good with the exception of wallriding we should've had that autobahn track, the one HP used for their contest, that was a good technical track. that being said, SHIFT has some strong names behind it, which have been related to a number of very good simulation games, thats mainly why we're holding our hope high for it. if not, we'd tell EA to go suck on twats or something.

silly question, but have you watched a drift tutorial? i know you already know where to get those replays, so what i do i load up the replay, and try to imitate the lines they take, and especially the speed. i found that drifting needs two things, the right gradient and the right speed. its gets harder to drift from downhill to uphill of course. just remember to turn first before hitting the brakes

As strife said, is that NOT what the best gamers do? I am preordering SHIFT already, and planning to do the same with FIFA2010. A head start is always an advantage, especially when CelGames is the first one to use the new titles (hopefully).
