QUOTE(limch @ May 19 2011, 07:26 PM) Price point is one indicator and secondly, buy from a reputable shop. You can also see the leather print. If it is uniform, chances are PU leather. Of course you could cut a piece of the suspected leather from the bottom where the leather is stapled to the frame and buy them with lighter. PU leather will catch fire, genuine leather will not. well friend of mine actually "choose" full leather.... its like half leather 3xxx and full leather 5k.... u paid 5 k and they try to cheat you with half leather sofa. QUOTE(aerozs @ May 20 2011, 12:42 AM) how to maintain white leather sofa?is there any special detergent or chemical to clean the leather?one of the shop told me just wipe it with wet cloth only, using just water, no need to use special chemical.. just bought white leather then finally it's difficult to handle it. huhu.. suppose buy black colour.. i have white sofa and they give me a box of leather sofa care consists of 1 cleaner and 1 conditioner for free. and yes, you need to condition the leather.
