I just bought a huge 3 seater L shape sofa. It measures about 11' long. I'm very particular with sofa and I have been through not less than 10 shops including the brands mentioned.

Lorenzo has the latest designs. They are price leader (local brand, some may argue it is a Singaporean brand)

Quality sofa = sturdy frame work + quality leather + quality sewing.

I bought mine from Future sofa. I opted for latex padding and thick leather. The sofa gives a firm feel to it. Happy with the purchase.

Anyway, sofa is a very personal item. One must try before buy.

Is Livino sofa good? L-shape thick leather selling 4000+.

I tried the black 1+2+3 black sofa, thick sofa, firm, big arm rest and American size. That is good. Half leather and asking for RM5k+ quoted by the sweet young lady. It was located right at the corner deep inside. Full leather retailed for RM10k+.

Somehow, do you feel that big sofa and big arm rest resembles authority, power and richness.

So, you bought Lorenzo sofa? If you don't mind, can share how much you paid for it.
Future sofa website seem expired.

No la, I bought leather sofa from Future. Klang branch gives better price, look for Ah hee. Not many have thick leather upholstery to choose. Be frank, Future did not have many color to choose from.

I paid RM4k for my set. Others like
Channel has a comfy feel,
Rozel has great designs,
Affredo, nice and firm,
Lorenzo, high price
Gucci, comfy
Lavino, currently having moving out sale
DSM, uses leather bond
Casa Italy, quite cheap
Rubelli, great designs,
Even, got good reviews

and many more house brand sofa OEM by unknown sofa factories.

Color is important because the minute your guest walk into your house, sofa grabs attraction. Best advice, match your sofa color with your wall and your feature wall color from same color family. That would make your living room lively and create depth.

L shape seems to be the trend now for condo/apartment. It utilise space better.

Still deciding on the colour of the sofa. My living area will be mainly in earth tone colour. Which colour to choose for modern type leather sofa : Brown, beige , grey, army green/dark khakis or black? Any suggestion ?  notworthy.gif

Very much depend on your wall color. If your wall is beige and your furniture is dark color, you would like to have a light color sofa. White or cream is very popular among the younger gen. Actually if you do not have feature wall, a pastel blue sofa will act like one.

it happened to my friend and it will happen again....

when you paid for a "full leather" and they delivered a "half leather" to the unsuspecting buyer. becareful what you signed on DO and what is wrieten on Invoice. it has to be clearly written what you are buying (the specification).

Price point is one indicator and secondly, buy from a reputable shop. You can also see the leather print. If it is uniform, chances are PU leather. Of course you could cut a piece of the suspected leather from the bottom where the leather is stapled to the frame and buy them with lighter. PU leather will catch fire, genuine leather will not.

True. We all have habitual seating preference. The sofa will present different color tone.

That why my wife resent white sofa.

I'd suggest that talk to the manager to sort thing out, if things not resolved, write to Hotline and complain. If that also did not help, publish the name/brand of sofa so that they know what is consumer right is all about.

Most sofa comes with warranty, you might want to check things out.

My guests came and were impressed with the quality and seating comfort.

I called Future Sofa and told them some glue gives way, they were at my door step 2 days later to collect and to rectify my sofa.

Not on price alone, they are not the cheapest in the market nor not the most color to choose from nor the design leader, but great customer service and an honest company. Based on this alone, I strongly recommend their products. Peace of mind!

I'm just a satisfied customer.

Well, I am sad to tell you all that the sofa I bought from Future Sofa sinks and now due to the poor lumber support, I develop back pain.

The leather cracks at the stitches, the bonded part also bunch up due to poor bonding. Call and email to them, no reply what so ever. Before buying they guarantee n years warranty.

Only one year into service, my sofa looks very worn off. FYI, neither kids jumping on the sofa nor abuse. This again shows the warranty offer is only empty promises. Try complain after a year and see if you get any assistance?

So, I am back out looking out for sofa again. Future Sofa will definitely not on my list.
