I went through the Gladiator 1080p MKV files...it was marvelous...no grainy stuff at all..some more extended cut...if there was one bad point is the battle with the barbarians at Germania scene, the fire tipped arrows that the romans used were so sharp looking, the fire seems so small. I remembered watching at the Cinema that when they unleashed the flaming arrows, it was so good, it paid for the ticket price. The sharper the images, the less the fire can be seen..the rest of the movie was superb.

Anyway, its a must get bluray collectors item. GET IT!

You might think that it is inaccurate...but a quick check with a real calibrated SPL meter used by Department of Health and it was only off by 0.2db at 80db.
And it could do so much more than just SPL.

The gov guy was so impressed by it.

I watch this in cinema and this version,
In the cinema, the flame tip arrows scene in Germania paid the ticket price in full...it was so awesome, it looked like hundreds of Katsusya rockets being launched.
It was the most happening event for that battle scene....very intense...
