Note that this is the local(??) version with only the cover (without the sleeve that the US version that have a top cardboard sleeve, and the back inside cover has been "Jokerized", tho local and US version is still the 2 BD version.

BTW, Batu Selekoh on MV 3rd floor (same level as the GSC cinema) has more selection for BDs than their outlet in The Gardens.

Bro, any news on 300 The Complete Exp??

They filmed the movie using HD cameras, thats why the PQ even in regular screens is very good. Its almost as good as the digital version of "Angels and Demons" and "Teminator Salvation" in our cinemas.

FD4 in 3D is very cool, the PQ can be better and sharper, but is better than any regular 35mm films.

Two pairs to be exact, together in one loooooong scene summore.... saw the 1080p mkv.

Darn Starship Trooper takde stock in Amazon, kena shipped in another shipment when stock ada..... so now kena 2 shipment = no savings from the stayblu3 code.....

However, this is the first i am hearing that dvd players cant play Close Captions, even if they are Region 1 DVDs. Errr... yr R3 DVD player can play R1 DVD meh??

Bro, if yr LCD dont support 24fps, the info will never be 24fps on yr lcd. Its yr LCD, not yr BDs....

BD movies are in 24fps natively, while some concerts can be 50 or 60fps.

576, 720 or 1080 refers to the lines of resolution on yr screen from top to bottom.

1080i or 1080p refers to how the lines are displayed. Interlaced (i) skips a line when displaying (from top: line 1, 3, 5, 7... then line 2, 4, 6, 8...., effectively making it 540 lines per frame). Progressive Scan (p) are displayed all at ones (all 1080 lines each frame).

24Hz, 50Hz or 60Hz refers to the refresh rate the screen is showing per second. Films are captured 24 frames per second, so running a BD movie in 24fps will best simulate what u see on the big screen.

TV usually displays the info as such: 1080i/50, 1080p/60Hz, 1080p/24
