Thanks Versey. More details:
The U.S.S. Enterprise Commemorative Replica is modeled directly from the digital effects files used in Star Trek (2009). Hand cast in solid metal, the replica incorporates chrome, textured steel and pewter finishes to create a collectible of unsurpassed detail and elegance. From the delta command badge base to the tip of each nacelle, not a drop of plastic was used in the construction of this substantial piece. Each ship is crafted by the artisans of Quantum Mechanix Inc. (QMx), a boutique collectibles maker. The U.S.S. Enterprise Commemorative Replica was created exclusively for Amazon.com to celebrate the maiden voyage of Starfleet's newest flagship, and is available in a limited edition of only 5,000 ships. Each replica comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, signed by QMx and Industrial Light & Magic's Roger Guyett, Visual Effects Supervisor. • Model directly from the digital effects files used in Star Trek (2009) • Made of solid metal with chrome, textured steel and pewter finishes • 8.5 inches long and weighing over a pound • Limited Edition of 5,000 • Comes with Certificate of Authenticity |

QUOTE(fadthil @ Sep 15 2009, 12:34 PM) Muchos Gracias bro! All these interpolation/100Hz/200Hz are done by the TV. You should be able to turn it off at the TV. You advised to turn off interpolation feature when viewing 24fps content. Does that function button on the tv or BDP/PS3? And how do you determine the movie/content is 24fps... is it like comparing feature film & documentary? My BD player always display the 24p whenever the movie starts. Almost all theatrical movies were shot at 24 fps. Some documentaries were shot at 24 fps as well, Planet Earth is one example. |

Usually HK/local pressed Hollywood movies only BD25. Bro Eye, can you check the back cover to confirm. Or if you have a BD-ROM drive can check properties. For movies longer than 2 hours I'm worried the bitrate has been compromised to fit the BD25, especially if the US version uses BD50. Kingdom of Heaven runs around 3 hours, US version is BD50 without extra features (except trailer).
HK release of HK movies are usually BD50 though, quality is comparable to US version. One example is the Red Cliff movies and Ip Man. The easiest way to identify the local/HK release is by looking at the blue oval sticker on the front cover, local/HK is imprinted instead of a real sticker. |

QUOTE(fadthil @ Sep 16 2009, 01:58 AM) Kisah parcel yang lambat dari Amazon: Much worse when the try to play it with a DVD player. Ketam already received those parcels. They opened and select the titles among them - to be brought back to their respective hometown and watch over the long Raya holidays. They bring it back once returning back to work the following week, re-wrap it and replace it back in the parcel and re-seal it. They chop on the box with the date which is a few days earlier and then release it. You guys receive the parcels by then with the knowledge that it just arrived... |

The customs has the rights to open your package though.
But from my experience they never open the BDs inside, they just wanna see what's in the package. |

Another devastating review of Drunken Master II.
http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/2529/drunkenmaster.html Not stopping me, my copy is already on it's way, I love this movie. My DVD copy was borrowed by somebody and never returned. I already forgot whom. This will have to do until they do proper release with original Cantonese audio. Added on September 16, 2009, 10:51 am QUOTE(cmw_kwl_6923 @ Sep 16 2009, 10:33 AM) The custom sure having the scanner machine right, the machine like we pay a visit to other country all the hand bag The purpose is to see the titles, you can't see it via the scanner. The ones suspected with inappropriate contents or banned in Malaysia will be submitted to KDN for further action. Many forumers here experienced this last year, including myself.,luggage need to put in the scanner machine, apa pun boleh tengok, actually no need to open our parcel, what~~~~~! mamang tnagan itch only~~~~! But don't worry, they don't do this all the time. Just when they have itchy hands as you said, but they still have the rights to open. This post has been edited by aiman04: Sep 16 2009, 10:53 AM |
