Looks like the coming US release of The Legend of Drunken Master is not very good. And there's no original Cantonese/Mandarin audio tracks at all.

So sad, this is one of my favorite Jackie Chan movies. Still not sure whether to get this or not, the English dub sure is a turn off. Maybe gotta wait for a HK release.

If the title is stays true to the past POTC and follow the elements of the award winning novel then we are in for another interesting wild ride!

Blu Ray.com did a review of the only 3 Tamil Blu Ray releases. Kudos to them to doing it. I own only one of them, more of a support for the studio in their efforts to move ahead. I actually pity the reviewer the 3 films chosen to be ported to Blu Ray for Tamil are really not too great, there are better ones but at least the Tamil film industry is moving in that direction. I stay away from Tamil movies as there is rarely movies of substance out there. There is one director works that I would like to see more of Maniratnam (if any out there are interested). His movies have plenty of story and he takes movies out of some interesting people and issues (mixed marriages in India, terrorism and of course there is song and dance in them, that's how the industry is!)

Made me think, when we will finally see a Malaysian (preferably Malay) movie making it to Blu Ray. I would love to see some of the old P.Ramlee pictures go through some restoration for Blu Ray because I really think he is a smashing actor and his movies were way ahead of his times. I stopped watching Malay movies some time ago since like Tamil movies they really have slumped in quality. Maybe a Criterion like restoration on some of P Ramlee's classics would revive the interest.

Question, how many of you out there watch foreign language (non native spoken language) movies (ie, French, Italian, Spanish, Mandarin) and how has Blu Ray improved your viewing experience for this.

I know that HK movies are a thrill to watch due to their big budget action related movies, but how many non Mandarin speaking watch the movies that are more serious in nature...
