I will look at it, A-1 Studio has excellent production value due to Sony's money. This one flew under my radar, thanks Fyonne for heads up.
Valkyria Chronicles anime kinda failing despite having great animation and artworks (blame it on director?). Nevertheless, scriptwriter and the director for Soranowoto anime look promising.

Valkyria Chronicles has promising start but I think the director is not very skilled in creating and develop characters that we all can root for. This is where I felt the series become not so good after a while.
And yes the director for Sora no Woto is promising. I enjoyed Elfen Lied anime despite excessive gory scenes.

Dude, I don't care if you're spamming here in Anime Shrine because that's likely what a person do when posting here. Not like i hated you or something but I dislike the idea of using excuses like that. I never consider myself as hardcore fan of anime itself, kinda but not that fanatic. But I appreciate good stuffs. Of course because I had money and purchased some of the stuffs. If I don't, I just keep quiet. Especially when getting stuffs for free, why request more? read the manga, n judge from the manga n compare to the trailer which i can assume it gonna be the same with it. all i can say its good manga, n hopefully the anime can keep with it (or better)

-The series plainly takes place in the distant future. Technology had advanced quite a bit, but with the onset of the incredibly long and destructive war, nearly everything was lost. What few relics have survived (Such as the spider tank) are largely remnants of a lost culture. Also, in the lake in which Kanata saw the skeleton that is believed to be that of the "demon", modern guard rails can be seen half-buried under rubble along the rocks underwater.
-Cultures have mixed a lot. The story is set in Seize, a town that is based on an existing one in Spain; French seems to be used a lot (note Noel's name - it's a clearly French name, but it is written in Kanji); the old writing in the ruined school is in Japanese, but neither Kanata nor Kureha knows how to read it.
- It appears that music is used for practical purposes rather than for enjoyment, and it is not formally instructed outside of the army. Kureha is shocked when Kanata suggests that music may have been taught outside of the military. This would also explain why Kanata enlisted as a trumpeter despite having no knowledge of how to play; normally, one would learn to use the instrument before joining the military, but it would make sense if joining the military is the only way to learn.
- Kureha's lecture to Kanata is deceptively significant. She mentions that five soldiers is the absolute minimum number to a platoon. Kanata makes the fifth soldier in Seize, raising the question of just what happened to the former fifth member.

- this episode is focus more on felicia past.. -felicia is part of all women tank crew but her unit got wiped out, leaving her the sole survivor of her unit.. -more on the mysterious blonde girl.. -Takemikazuchi in action as in the flashback scene, that tank can climb buildings!!! -some sort of laser weapon fired from space burning everything from the ground.. -the younger felicia found a body of a dead soldier with japanese writing written on the wall behind the body, there's a howa type 89 rifle beside him..
Since japan cant export any home-made weapon, I'm guessing that the JSDF got involve in some sort of war in europe and kanata is the descendants of these japanese soldiers?..

the last ep only they show takemikazuchi, and what do they mean by the invisible reaper? is it some kind of biological plant or something (i see from the subtitle)?
i wonder what era they are in, the tank is so advance that it doesn't use track but leg, and the takemikazuchi is so lightweight that it can climb mountain vertically while still able to crush other tank with only 1 "leg" and withstand so many fire from other tank.
with so advanced technology, they still use trumpet as signal?

Season 2! I wanna see more Takemikazuchi. And more of the backstroy. Too much mysteries for it to simply end there.
