From 4 electrician I asked, here is the price they quoted:

Power point
Price RM70 to RM80. For each additional power point beside the point need to add RM10 to RM15. So, if your power point have 2 output (or box, don't know the exact name), price is RM70+RM15=RM85, if 3 RM70+ RM15 + RM15 = RM100. 3 electricians quote me RM80 with RM10 for additional outlet, while 1 quote me RM70 with RM15 for additional outlet. So at the end, if I want 3 output, all give me the same price (RM100). All are the price with 2.5 cable concealing inside wall with pvc pipe.

Water heater
Price RM120. Don't know the cable size but thicker than 2.5 mm cable. The price not include installation.

Air-cond
Price RM150. Only ask 1 technician about this. Don't know why the price higher than water heater.

Normal lamp wiring
Price RM40 - RM50. This is normal wiring where they just loop from another existing fan or lamp wiring. Add RM5 for installation.

Fan
Price RM40 - RM50. Add RM15 for installation.

Exhaust fan
Price RM70 with installation. I don't install hood, instead I use exhaust fan.

Total is RM1500 with installation for my single storey terrace house. But I did all the lamp and fan wiring and installation my-self so total price is RM800 only for power outlet and CB.

Just to share how much my wiring works. It's not that cheap after all. I spent about RM6k for wiring works and installation for a double storey house. rclxub.gif Very expensive.

Some prices I remember :-

a) 13 Amp power point (Don't really care whether it's next to each other) - RM80
I've checked with a few wireman and all is between RM75 to RM80 too

b) Lighting point for downlight - RM58 each

That's a very good rate that you got for your wiring. Are the wires conceal inside the PVC conduit?

Can share the contact of your electrician?

You got a good price there. thumbup.gif
For the fan installation is very cheap. Does it include the fan hook? Because the hook already cost around RM3-5 if I remember correctly.

Do house developer have an option for add additional point and upgrade wiring?

I remember my house developer have an option for us to upgrade the point, heater, aircon point and from 30amp to 60amp. All with a price but cheaper.

electrical points charges may varies but you should also look at the quality of the wires used... I believe again the basis of 'pay peanut gets monkey' logic..
