Last time I buy 3rd party insurance only around 60+.. How come now need over 120? What is the new thing PA?? Must we get it?

If buy new car sure more expensive becoz no NCB discount.

If want to buy without the PA or passenger care, have to go directly to the insurance company.. agents' don't wanna do third party...
I just recently renewed my third party insurance directly with ace insurance...

Most insurance company don't want to accept 3rd party insurance.

Those which still do, would request car owner to purchase additional cover, like in ur case PA.

If it can solve the problem of insurance company rejecting 3rd party cover. I wouldn't mind.

Since the current tariff was set some 20-30 years ago.

And the amount of accident claims in M'sia really scared the hell out of insurance company.

To insurance companies, old cars are classified as high risk and have very low margin to begin with.
