Hi Voltus5, mine is type A in Block A too. Another buyer did share with me that he personally finds that type B design has better floor utilisation compared to A: space for shoe rack, store room, privacy of the rooms (doors not directly facing the dining room)...

However, there were not many units left when I made the booking and I prefer a corner unit anyway. Think just have to live with it as nothing is perfect.

Fren, if shoe location is a major concern for you, y dun you just drop type A and take other type??

Fren, it seems like you will not hav a peaceful day without a place to put ur shoe even after u had purchase type A, so y take the mantel stress..

I cant talk about other matter bcos ur "shoe location" just strike my interest.. 

ermm...voltus, do u think the developer will spend additional $$$ to alter the layout and require all the vested type A purchasers to re-sign their s&p's when they have already sold out pretty much all of the units?!

if response was lacklustre, that might be a different story alltogether...

last time i request change the location of basin and WC to the opposite wall for Type B bathroom without any additional cost, a lot of ppl said it is mission impossible, but compare to u, my request just a small case. i think you can go to Ikea buy a shoe rack which can fix on the wall to store ur shoes. i m using it right now. suitable for those limited space entrance.

Just got back from the sales office. Went there to collect my S&P (finally!). They have 'makan' session day today but I didn't go for the food. Anyway, just some updates:
1. 3 units remaining in Tower A. People are still asking whether there's more unit than just these 3
2. Show unit almost ready, just need to properly lay out the road so that we can park our cars 

I am purchaser of Type A unit. Found it amusing really that of all things, the space for shoe rack is now being discussed. Personally, I think that's not a big issue. One just need to be creative when it comes to space utilization 

I have just read most of voltus5 comment about the shoerack location. Im a type A buyer too, but... i think you are funny... You sound like an angry kid and often give sarcastic reply whenever ppl try to give you feedback, sorry but i really dont like this. Maybe im the one being sensitive here 

voltus...if the space is such a big issue to u, y did u get type A in the first place?? 

seems like u r the only one having the issue of putting the shoerack...others I think they r fine with it...

Hi voltus5, understand yr frustration I did notice the absence of a nook for the shoe rack too & the entrance kinda small but its the biggest unit still and the internal space utilisation is among the best - small balcony for bigger hall & no strange passages. 

Only 1 gripe, the construction like not fast enough. How come the blocks are not coming up yet ? If they can do this place faster than setia walk, it would be the biggest present for us owners & a coup for the developer & a feather in the cap for sunrise maincon.

I believe most of us here are a bunch of friendly Zest owners. The reason why your post wasn't well-taken was due to your aggressiveness.

You are right about the shoerack and the lack of entrance space. I could see there is a design issue with this. For your information, I'm taking up a Type B unit.

Look closely at Type B, you would see there a " T " wall at the entrance - to form the entrance and the storage room. When I first looked at it, I had the impression that the designer added this " T " wall after realizing the lack of a storage room and an entrance space. Again, this is only my impression because I find the design a bit "uncommon"

You sound not very satisfy with the unit you bought...then why you buy at the first place? Hopping to gether the type A buyers to hv developer to change the layout for a shoes rack? 

Why i buy? I got too much money. Don't know what to do with it. Why you don't like i gather the owners to hve developer change the layout?
Is it because you are from developer ? If not, then why you seem like you heart sick?

I understand your concern, but you just sound like those who bought type A and don't think the shoes rack is a big issue to them are funny fellows...

Dear fellow Zestians,

Let us all please return to the friendly warm and cozy discussion that we used to have. There is no (monetary) benefit for anyone of us to "gain a breath of air" (cantonese saying) by pointing/criticizing at what others are saying. I have seen worse "debates" in some other forums regarding another condo, and the only conclusion I could make from that was "gosh, luckily didn't buy there, imagine my neighbours like that...". Let's just stop right here and then, before things go out of control and ugly.

We all can complain about anything that we don't like here. But bear in mind on the approach we take. If you are really vested in this (and of course if you hope to make money from this property), remember that lots of prospect buyers/tenants are reading this thread. If we go down the road of negativity, we will only give our prospect buyers/tenants the wrong impression that the property is problematic - when the problem is probably manageable.
