Hi Zestians! biggrin.gif

Wow this is a cool thread. I got a unit in block A , mine is type A also.

Just noticed that the entrance to type A unit does not have any space for shoe rack. vmad.gif
Go check out the model layout at the showroom and you will see what i mean.
Even as you enter the unit there will not be any space to put one.

This planning is not good. Where to put shoes next time? cry.gif

All the other types have enuff space for a designated shoe rack.

Any comments from you guys who bought type A about this matter? We should all collectively insist that they
allot some space for this basic and necessary purpose. icon_question.gif

Hi Voltus5, mine is type A in Block A too. Another buyer did share with me that he personally finds that type B design has better floor utilisation compared to A: space for shoe rack, store room, privacy of the rooms (doors not directly facing the dining room)...

However, there were not many units left when I made the booking and I prefer a corner unit anyway. Think just have to live with it as nothing is perfect.
*
How r u ml22? I understand what you are saying but can you imagine next time after reaching your unit and you
have no place to put away your shoes? R u just going to leave them outside at the entrance? It is going to be messy la fren.
Or are u going to take them off once u reach your entrance and hold them with u all the way to wherever it is that is the
nearest place to construct or place a shoe rack?

Think about it la fren...store room don't have just build more cupboards la, privacy of rooms don't have, just
place some partition la. But everyday you come back from somewhere, you have nowhere to put your shoes. Apala joe...

Fren, if shoe location is a major concern for you, y dun you just drop type A and take other type??
*
Got other type to take now? U want to let go your unit ?
U must be from developer ka?

If shoe location not a major concern to you, y dun you just talk about something else then because you obviously could not
relate to this matter.

I cant talk about other matter bcos ur "shoe location" just strike my interest..  smile.gif

Just tryin to create awareness on this matter and see if collectively, we the type A owners can get the dev to
alter the layout just enuff to accomodate a freakin shoe rack. That's all...

So what r u waiting for, type A guys & girls? Start bringing this matter up , call your SA, pester the developer
for the sake of a better future for your beautiful shoes. They will love u back.. thumbup.gif

ermm...voltus, do u think the developer will spend additional $$$ to alter the layout and require all the vested type A purchasers to re-sign their s&p's when they have already sold out pretty much all of the units?!

if response was lacklustre, that might be a different story alltogether... wink.gif
*
Ya.. i know what you mean..but i just want people to imagine life without space for a shoe rack at the entrance.
Who knows...maybe they can think of something but at the same time not require any amendment to the S & P? wink.gif

Ya i've seen them. Ok la for last resort...but this zest designer/architect maybe lulus only lesen terbang wei...maybe he follow his house
design also no space for shoe rack...maybe he go out no wear shoes? kakaka kakaka doh.gif

Just got back from the sales office. Went there to collect my S&P (finally!). They have 'makan' session day today but I didn't go for the food. Anyway, just some updates:
1. 3 units remaining in Tower A. People are still asking whether there's more unit than just these 3
2. Show unit almost ready, just need to properly lay out the road so that we can park our cars  rclxms.gif

I am purchaser of Type A unit. Found it amusing really that of all things, the space for shoe rack is now being discussed. Personally, I think that's not a big issue. One just need to be creative when it comes to space utilization  tongue.gif
*
Mind sharing where & how u going to be 'creative' about utilization of space? When there is no space?
Just go on acting cool about it whistling.gif When your guests come over, you gonna play 'pass the shoes' with them hahahahah
should be able to pass time

Next time go sales office, study the layout la doh.gif

Anyway,ignorance not a crime tongue.gif

Hi voltus5,

Words in forums are expressionless bcos u cant c wats the emotions or face expression as other people speak. I have notice you have used quite some strong words and sentences while conveying ur views or replying other ppl's questions smile.gif .. We are here to exchange views and opinions, and most important, respect each other although we don't agree.. simply because we are unique individuals..

Major issue for you doesn't mean it is the same for others.. if you don't understand what is Paradigm Shift, try reading Stephen Covey's "7 Habits" smile.gif

I have only a pair of slipper and a pair of shoe, even a box can do well for me  thumbup.gif What the hack i need a shoe place...

ya hi back to you Eugene, again the usual bla bla...respect is earned, not given mind you shakehead.gif
Strong words to you doesn't mean it is the same for others. Well, this line sure is familiar hmm.gif where have i heard it?
Oh craps! From you hahaha and i quote 'Major issue for you doesn't mean it is the same for others' . I rest my case. notworthy.gif
You guys are funny! hahaha

And by the way, i think Horatio Alger's Ragged d*** is a better read. Yaa...like reading a self-help book makes you a hero whistling.gif

Wah ! Hot hot place the zest .. things r still galloping away.

Hi voltus5, understand yr frustration smile.gif I did notice the absence of a nook for the shoe rack too & the entrance kinda small but its the biggest unit still and the internal space utilisation is among the best - small balcony for bigger hall & no strange passages.  thumbup.gif

Only 1 gripe, the construction like not fast enough. How come the blocks are not coming up yet ? If they can do this place faster than setia walk, it would be the biggest present for us owners & a coup for the developer & a feather in the cap for sunrise maincon.

*
Finally...someone who understands and can relate. notworthy.gif Thank you Mr. Potato for at least being able to notice and second the
opinion unlike some others who just prefer to keep quiet and accept injustice from this amateur designer/architect.

We need more dignified type A owners to step up to the plate and point this out to the developer. icon_question.gif

United we stand, divided we will be screwed left, right & center. doh.gif

Yes , have to be faster than SW. If dev good cash flow should be no prob. + most buyers should have gotten loan already.

Ahhh... finally I can see some decent words from you smile.gif

I believe most of us here are a bunch of friendly Zest owners. The reason why your post wasn't well-taken was due to your aggressiveness.

You are right about the shoerack and the lack of entrance space. I could see there is a design issue with this. For your information, I'm taking up a Type B unit.

Look closely at Type B, you would see there a " T " wall at the entrance - to form the entrance and the storage room. When I first looked at it, I had the impression that the designer added this " T " wall after realizing the lack of a storage room and an entrance space. Again, this is only my impression because I find the design a bit "uncommon" smile.gif

It's ok la kimhoong. Some are introverts and we'll just have to accept them sitting in their shells..hehe At the same time, nothing wrong with
trying to champion the cause and try to put some fire into their souls tongue.gif

If in this case, being aggressive is wrong, then i don't want to be right. cool2.gif

Exactly my thoughts on the T-wall is if they could think there was lack of storage space and thus created it, why the heck
did they not apply this to type A as well? I think the storage room would add value to the unit as a whole. But still have to
wait for the finished product to be sure.

You sound not very satisfy with the unit you bought...then why you buy at the first place? Hopping to gether the type A buyers to hv developer to change the layout for a shoes rack?

Why i buy? I got too much money. Don't know what to do with it. Why you don't like i gather the owners to hve developer change the layout?
Is it because you are from developer ? If not, then why you seem like you heart sick?

I understand your concern, but you just sound like those who bought type A and don't think the shoes rack is a big issue to them are funny fellows...  shakehead.gif

How can you say you understand? Yeah, i think they are funny. But i think you are even more funny. cry.gif

type A buyers are quiet doesn't mean they don't care what they had purchased but maybe they are ok and the shoes rack is simply just not a big issue to them. Don't la sound like only you care sleep.gif

At least i care more than you la. All you care is just to rebuke my statements. Not even a single suggestion or idea. Very weak la...no substance
at all  yawn.gif

Dear fellow Zestians,

Let us all please return to the friendly warm and cozy discussion that we used to have. There is no (monetary) benefit for anyone of us to "gain a breath of air" (cantonese saying) by pointing/criticizing at what others are saying. I have seen worse "debates" in some other forums regarding another condo, and the only conclusion I could make from that was "gosh, luckily didn't buy there, imagine my neighbours like that...". Let's just stop right here and then, before things go out of control and ugly.

We all can complain about anything that we don't like here. But bear in mind on the approach we take. If you are really vested in this (and of course if you hope to make money from this property), remember that lots of prospect buyers/tenants are reading this thread. If we go down the road of negativity, we will only give our prospect buyers/tenants the wrong impression that the property is problematic - when the problem is probably manageable.

Thank you and looking forward to meet you all at the showhouse gathering!
*
Well said. rclxms.gif In order to reap the highest of monetary benefit from this venture, and i'm quite sure that's why we are all here
in the first place, the idea is to first maximize the value of our investment. It is this that i'm trying to do, with or without any help
from others. It is only with the achievement in change of layout to the entrance to accomodate a shoe rack that i will cease to voice
this matter.
This is my resolve. In the end, even if it does not materialize , it would not have mattered because it is the fight, and fight we must
because this is our trait. This is what separates us from the animals. drool.gif

So join me in my fight o' type A owners or forever fall behind along with the naysayers and the sceptics that say they don't care,
that it's not a big issue to them, that they don't mind to have paid their hard earned money on 'problems that are manageable.'

Give peace a chance. icon_rolleyes.gif

So if the showunit will be ready on early Oct. How many Zestians will turn up on the first day? Hahaha gonna be a blast over there.

To normaldude ---> thanks and once everything is ok d then i will supply the design ya. =)

Thanks for helping set the tone right that it is not as serious as it sounds. Bravo. It seems you are one of the few who
can feel the atmosphere. It is only serious if you take it sooooo personal until even innocent playfulness, people
use it to twist it into something sooooo huge. doh.gif

Keep on going like this, warning might be issued by staff and even suspension. A friendly reminder.

Voltus,
This a property talk section, there is no need to pick up anybody for personal confrontation issue.

Hi Moderator, plse be fair. No names were mentioned. Just making general statement. If this is not allowed, then i think
you should issue warning to others who are resorting to name calling as well.

Somewhere along the way, i saw someone mentioned 'empty vessel'. Wonder if this is considered as also
picking up somebody for personal confrontation issue? If it is, plse issue warning.
