Hi, been following this thread for awhile, and yes, that makes me one of the owner as well...

My only concern is how third party contractor able to add a fan point without hacking/cutting much of soffit of the concrete slab considering slab is the support for whatever you put on floor. It is always easier and safer to add light/fan points before concreting (which can be only done via developer's offer). This is a high rise building without ceiling (correct me if i'm wrong) so I see no way to add the points AFTER concreting without hacking/cutting the concrete slab.

Heck, worse case scenario use stand fan...

PS: Can anyone check on the DB and MCB? Need confirmation from developer side.

PSS: Did someone said free 2 aircon? or 2 aircon points? and is it referring to aircon drain pipe or copper pipe included? (Okay, i'm abit noobish when it comes to aircon)

Reminds me again, what is the finish level to slab soffit height again?

Can't imagine how low it will be if there is plaster ceiling.

Direct quoting from Daniel Low, one of the owner of The Zest

Hi Chee Loon, sorry for late reply been frustrated talking sense to Zest management who is so "arrogant" nowadays. Below is what I gather from Zest:

1. The additional plug point in the package will be located just next to existing plug point !! I'm sure all of us want the additional point on the other wall for convenient sake.

2. Air conditional piping only for master room and living room which is so near to the air outlet if you look at the plan. What about second and third room ?? which is further and need the piping.

3. As for the fan outlet, some of it will replace the existing ceiling light point. Hence the light point will be transferred to the wall.

As for Zest's Management feedback, they told me that they are not going to entertain any feedback .... which I'm quite offended and they are not listening to their customer ... I've discuss with JT and he think we should call a meeting with the Management. JT also concern that if Zest use prefab then we will have problem later.

"

PS: My name is NOT Chee Loon

Correct me if i'm wrong, estimated completion date for Zest will be early 2012 but the estimated completion date for LRT would be mid 2013 (36 months starting mid 2010) according to this news?

Talking about typical units here,

Structural works completed,
Brickwork almost complete (Level 16?),
Aluminum frame (Window, Door) at Level 14,

Plastering, Skimcoat, Tiling, Painting all these tedious work can't be observed from outside.

However I see some pipes and sand at Level 5, so I suspect those traits should be somewhere there.

I don't suppose there is any new show unit available.

More accurate question is:
The existing show unit in Trinity office still open to public?

Well, KLCC view corner unit is facing the highway, example master bedroom and living room, so some people may not like the sound polution, as light sleeper will have problem sleeping with all those cars driving by fast along the highway.

Other corner unit? I'm afraid your master bedroom might be facing side of block B.

Don't even mention about feng shui IF the buyer is half-bucket water who is too sensitive to everything.

IF people see something they like, you can always mark up the prices, after all you pay for what you like. I don't believe in any particular conditions that command special price, I only believe in rich buyer.

Pass by The Zest yesterday, Block C external scaffold is being dismantled with external paint on going. External plaster seems completed for Block A and B. Will check my photo quality later today (taken while driving by) and post up here.

Normally it will take another 3-4 months to complete after external paint and removal of external scaffold.

Maybe most of their painters still working on internal painting (as I've yet to receive any progress claim for unit wall finishes), that might explain the slower progress of Block A and B.

Hm.... Pool deck havn't start yet. At least 2 months to complete all the landscaping?

And the last photo.... looks like there's some issue with structure. I saw some rebar of the beam beneath the floor. Wonder why structure rectification started so late.
