i think Pai wasn't wrong at the first place, he juz pointed out people who complained abt the workmanship issue should also highlight the details, furthermore he retract his statement after gone thru the video, wonder what make mr chuah so offensively addressing Pai a liar?
IHO... it is not unusual to see tiles poping .. i saw this happened from Parkson cosmetic dept and also the saraka apartment that developed by branded developer SP Setia.. sometimes tiles poped up was due to poor workmanship, but not 100% it might also due to the quality of the tiles and some other technical issue.. if let's say it was the workmanship problem, i can only say the developer can't afford to hire 1st class tiler with only 100k selling price, as like the chinese saying u pay one cent u get one cent stock.. even SP Setia can't quaranty it .. ( saraka was also sold at around 100K last time).. i think the heron purchaser got to give and take as they already enjoy a fruitful returned from the capital appreciation as well as high rental yield.. luckily, there were only 6 to 7 unit affected (according to the heron management).. but, still hoping the developer will take some action even though the warranty periord is expired for their good name sake..
To have a peace of mind, i suggest the Zest purchasers should write in to TT (can also via the salesperson) making a official request to stop TT from appointing the same tile laying contractor.. afterall the Zest pricing is much higher comparing heron.. i think we deserve a better quality tiles contractor.. as the last few unit of zest apartment were sold above 300k.. agreed?
