So my friend just bought a Pirated iphone. Cost him Rm300 while the original Rm2600 >.> None of people I know uses real iphone so, anyone know the difference? Like features difference maybe? I pretty sure from the price its not a "unlocked" phone but a "cloned" one...

I think it is China but Im not too sure.. Im also not sure if wi-fi exist in it. He said the phone shop which is call "CYC Entreprise" or something (sure about the CYC part) told him that the only difference between both of them is just that the touch screen of this fake one is less "sensitive". But I'm sure there's more difference then that. What pisses me off is he's so proud and bragging bout it. Argh.

Anyone knows if there's any key features or anything that is missing or difference?

there's seriously no point buying a clone. its the Apps. clone / fake iPhone no way to do that.

There is so many china Iphone imitations out there .. We can't tell you or pin point the difference ... but all I can say the Apple Iphone don't deserve to be compare to a china Iphone at all ... everything is different .. enough said

seen one imitation b4. it wont work with itunes. even the cable connecting to the phone itself difference, using 5 pin usb.

I happen to saw a imitation alike iphone 3g. The shape is totally the same. Even the screen protector and casing can be use. When on the imitation iphone,also have the apple logo. But once inside. You will know the difference. It is a china phone with no wifi. For sure,no apps for you. The function is totally like the china phone csl. Just that the icon is arrrange in the same order as iphone. How scary china is nowadays.

The beauty of the iPhone is the OS, the capacitive touchscreen, multitouch, wifi and of course, APPS.

I wonder if the fakes even have an accelerometer, you know, to play games like Cro Mag.

The looks in terms of casing and design might be same but user interface wise is totally different.

Some better china models have wifi. It was amusing for me to actually see a china iphone lookalike (i'll say 85%) with windows mobile !!!!!

Another thing, these china made iphones wouldn't last I would say. Not enough R&D done, I give 3 months tops.

A friend of mine bought a cheap phone made in china (not iphone clone) and now it can't even be booted. The boot screen is stucked. Wasted his RM500 on that phone I would say. No refunds, warranty or tech support also

I don't get the people actually paid for the fake iphone knowing in advance
the apps doesn't work for them.

Perhaps they are clone apps written for the fake iphone out there? Are there any?
