Atomic bomb = nuclear bomb


Nucleus = Protons and neutrons = inside atom (therefore atomic)




Those bombs derive from atomic energy inside nucleus. The nucleus splits into two (fission) producing whole lots of energy + radiation + particles




There are two types of Nuclear weapons
1. Atomic bomb or A-Bomb
2. Hydrogen bomb or H-Bomb
