QUOTE(enneirda @ Nov 9 2013, 01:11 PM) I am also a current SPM student, unable to decide what I want to do or I want to take.My choices are to either take A levels, matrikulasi or stpm.I am not sure of what field i would like to enter, but my parents are trying to talk me into being a nutritionist/dietician. public or private university or overseas???I do enjoy learning bio,but studying it is a real chore to me.My results are average (not great or bad) and I am worried that I'll find it hard to cope. Any good advice? How about your budget??? If you wanna enter public uni for health science courses, then take STPM or Matrik.....chances to get Matrik is quite low but still possible, mainly for bumis....but using STPM result to get the course that you want, the chance is almost nil... Private uni, can try foundation or A level.....with A level or STPM you can go overseas for further study.... |

QUOTE(HailStormXII @ Jun 28 2017, 09:48 AM) It's because at first i wanted to go ipts and financially was fine so i didn't apply. So till the next intake starts at June i have to wait so i wanna do smtg productive till then so i gonna work. So which batch of SPM Candidates are you? Are saying that you completed your SPM last year, but you didn't apply for Matriks last year, hence you plan to apply for this coming one? Personally, if you can do Form 6 now, I urge you just go. Also do state your "Kulit"fications and No. of A. and Koko marks for Form 1-5? |

I've applied for Matrics but I'm quite concerned about whether I will get my preferred course for degree level. I don't mind studying at a local uni because I am planning to do MSc right after overseas.
But if I do Matrics and don't get offered the university course I want.. then what? Esp since it's not really that recognised by private and overseas unis. I'm primarily aiming for UM or UPM too.. I don't know how good my chances are. I'm not that concerned about my grades because I am not a bad student (GPA 0.7 SPM Trials) Main issue worrying me is my kulitfication.. (Non-bumi) Thoughts guys?
