QUOTE(strinq @ Oct 14 2009, 11:07 AM) Mesti bakar?Yeah, I wonder also, never see their gears, and no activities to promote the army? Added on October 14, 2009, 12:31 pm QUOTE(alantch @ Oct 14 2009, 11:31 AM) I buy ALL of my SFs from the USA from personal users, most of them in good to excellent /mint condition for a fraction of the price. Just have to keep an eye out for them in the CPFMP. Hi Alantch, oh, really, that sound like a good way, thanks for sharing. How about the shipping? usually they ship without insurance and no signature required, right? This post has been edited by susuman: Oct 14 2009, 12:31 PM |

QUOTE(ray2ray @ Oct 14 2009, 10:48 AM) something different for a change; flashlights in use around the world. anyone care to ID model & type? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(ray2ray @ Oct 14 2009, 11:39 AM) haha, thanks. i regularly check the daily photo's thread on mp.net & save the best of the day's postings for future reference dll. nice way to get a roundup of the news esp milspec information around the world. best part is the frequently uncensored postings of hot incidents worldwide which is always sanitized once before it gets printed in our local media. Gotta say those are excellent pictures and info there Rayactually i was made to understand reading milspec related threads on cpf that US service personnel aren't issued SF lights as a norm. training yes, deployed no. many use maglites as that is what is available at the base PX stores. many resort to buying their own higher quality lights or using ones donated by family & friends which is sad considering the essential need to have illuminations in their daily tasks & this applies to all soldiers throughout the world. this article link i found was a very interesting take which many service personnel would be able to relate to: http://www.michaelyon-online.com/first-in-...-headlights.htm ray QUOTE(damonlbs @ Oct 14 2009, 02:55 PM) ![]() http://www.fenixoutfitters.com/new/fenix-tk30-231 http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showth...t=241839&page=3 |

QUOTE(susuman @ Oct 14 2009, 12:28 PM) Hi Alantch, oh, really, that sound like a good way, thanks for sharing. How about the shipping? usually they ship without insurance and no signature required, right? Shipping via USPS 1st class international airmail is actually pretty cheap. For those agreeable, they'll ship international for a few extra dollars. Most do not want to ship international due to the long queues at their local PO and filling up forms. Being in the big cities that they are in, this normally means a lot of time and effort to ship internationally. Another way is to get to know one of them who can help reship the light to you - and this is the way I do it for those that do not ship to this side of the world. For more expensive stuff, it's preferable to use EMS - costs more but trackable. HTH. |

QUOTE(pseudoblue @ Oct 14 2009, 12:50 AM) Gotta say those are excellent pictures and info there Ray Hmm... Fenix 630 Lumens ~ OTF 450 lumens? Maybe... Not too sure.. LOL, I was gonna post the link here and u beat me to it. Check out the specs, this light will probably make more sale then the TK40 with the popularity of 18650 batts. You can also just option to use 1x 18650 with max of 375lm. Quite enough for most situations M3T design copy per se... |

Is the U2 the Lux V version? Can the body accept 18650 cells?
$140 is a little high for this version, but you may disagree. IIRC, I've seen the Lux V's sold for $120. $140 for new version with Seoul LED a good price, but these cannot accommodate 18650 cells. |

He charges a small fee for his service but it's still worth it. |

QUOTE(z-b-i @ Oct 14 2009, 07:22 PM) I used to use the forwarding service by a CPF member, Unforgiven. He charges a small fee for his service but it's still worth it. Care to PM me who that is as a CPF member offered me the same service but I wasn't sure whether he was trustworthy. It was an expensive light I was planning to purchase. Most of the time, folks in CPF would ship international via International Priority or EMS (expensive). You just have to PM them to ask even if they clearly say US only. Not such luck with websites in the US shipping SF international. I got my LX2 and E2DL through ebay. Locally. the price of the E2DL has dropped to 699. |
