I got it from eBay as Tropical Equipment is not bringing in the LX2 supposedly until this month (I got it in September). Their prices is very much higher than what you could get online (most of you know this anyways). I paid USD 150. I paid about USD 27 for shipping as I also got an E2DL with two holsters at the same time. eBay is your best bet since most reputable online retailers will not ship SF outside the US.
Back to the LX2 output, 220-230lm sounds about right. I did a quick comparison (white wall about 5 ft away) amongst these I own with similar output range:
- SF E2DL (120 lumens more like 200 lm OTF)
- Elzetta ZFL-M60 with Malkoff M60 (235 lm OTF)
- Olight M20 Warrior Premium R2 (250 lm)
Order starting from what I perceived as the brightest hotspot:
- The Olight has the brightest hostpot among the 5. (SMO Reflector)
- The LX2 and Elzetta are too close to notice any visible differences and just barely edges the E2DL
- E2DL
Again, this is what I perceived and the differences are barely noticeable, with the exception of the Olight M20 Premium R2 having a distinctively brighter hotspot than the rest. Also, the E2DL is really close to 200 lm than the rated 120 lm.
I unfortunately will not make it to this weekend outing due to prior commitments

If the next one ever ends up in KD again, I'll be there to learn from you folks for sure!
oh boy.....no LX2 to play with this Saturday... anyway thanks for your info on this

Poslaju is around RM5.70 per parcel. Remember to add $$ for envelope and packing material (bubble wrap) unless you want crushed boxes. =)
Also add some $$ for old newspaper for all his hard work. =P
thanks for the info bro, save up my time for a trip to post office...

Wakakakaka, but it would be a correct way if it is ebay transaction, because then only it is eligible for the buyer protection. But here you can trust Surat Khabar lama lar.
thanks for your assurance! be my guarantor?

I'm very impress with the Krytox grease, the best among all I've used. My lights' twisting actions feels very very smooth. It's truly a wonderful product!!!
The Scuba Grease with PTFE is not bad either, and the "locking" property makes me strongly believe it can really waterproof any equipment with o-rings and such, this grease should be safe to use with silicone o-rings as it does not contains any silicone nor paraffin.
rookie, you are no doubt the ultimate grease man here!
