OMG the perfect light! Is it warm?? =D
200+ for a WF-501 Ultrafire? You gotta be kidding!!

tell me about it shocking.gif

& i wasnt impressed with the build quality either, felt flimsy.

a true SF 'feels' soo much more tougher, like my 6p brows.gif

wow that 1kW Xenon Arc Tank Light is <insert superlative here>

in the last pic, it retained sufficient power to illuminate the top of the cloud (with spill)

bro rookiedaddy took this video during the last KD gathering.

have a look for some rough idea what it'll look like.

this is just a couple minutes tho, not 15mins (more like 1/2 hour la polkiuj lol).

i think for those folk having trouble walking, the clearing would be a better option.

that JB RRT-0 looks spiffy.

if i wasnt so cash strapped now i'd be participating in the RRT0 GB now..sigh.

unless someone willing to buy 1 for me 1st then i pay back later whistling.gif

just received my ET P20A2 few days ago, thanks to bro's rookiedaddy & philightsophy.

here's a mini review

PROS
1) build quality is nice, similar to my earlier P100A2.
2) diffuser is a nice touch - pure floody beam makes a great alternative as a headlamp substitute on a certain brand of headband whistling.gif
3) removable crenelated bezel. can finally reach out & touch someone IF i wanted to brows.gif
4) i love lanyards & the new style lanyard that came with it is a big improvement over earlier ones, i like.

CONS
1) can only attach either clip or lanyand, not both.
2) diffuser is made from polycarbonate; ie not durable enough for long-term usage.
3) major gripe - strobe mode; too easily accessible. should either eliminate this feature alltogether or set as hidden function.
4) low mode is not easily activated, neither is it necessary imho. should have maintained a KISS 2-mode option like earlier P100A2.

SUMMARY
ok la, but could have been better. mine has the diffuser permanently attached, to perform the short-range floody headlamp substitute function indoors, with the SS bezel close at hand JUST in case i wanna reach out & touch them.

i initially thought the strobe was annoying too but after awhile it's actually "how hard is it to just turn it off and on again? takes like 0.5sec to do so lol".

I like the low low, useful at times.

or quickly loosen & tighten back the tailcap, but that would take 2 hands tho.

still, its an alternative method.

sidetrack abit...

had a drink wit some frens a couple of days back.

think i might be converting some of them, because they were so amazed at the throw of my humble ET p100a2 lol.

1 of them kept grabbing it, & flashing distant buildings.

+1 flashaholics!
