actually noticed that too, the threads are ok until it comes to the the o ring part then becomes crazy hard to turn, will see if i have any spares that can fit.

Wait this is the first time i'm changing o-rings, how do u take them off? at least without damaging the threads lol. using fingers but can't pry them. SOme sharp object? But i don't wanna risk scratching the light haha.

Thanks Gwen, or Danny, or the other girl...

You're welcome. I am Gwen la... tongue.gif

You will have to use a sharp clipper to pry the o-ring out. Risk of scratching....you will have to make sure your hands is super steady, anyway even scratch most likely will be the part covered by the o-ring so not so obvious. icon_idea.gif

ah just managed to take it out and replace it with the pd30 o-ring. (got the pd30 from u lah haha).
But have a question, the pd30's o-ring is not as 'fat' and as wide as the quarks, is that ok?
turns much smoother now but still got some resistance lah, something like the pd30's resistance.

Try puting some grease inside & outside the o-rings & threads, then when you close the tailcap make sure you can see the o-ring moving as well. If the o-ring doesn't move or very hard to move i think you will have to change to a slightly thinner o-ring. If the o-ring is too thin & when you close the tailcap the o-ring won't turn (means the o-ring is not touching the tailcap) this will not be good when it comes to waterproof.

Hey, if you want to try other o-ring, i have some 16mm o-ring that slightly bigger than the fenix o-ring.

I don't have the Quark Ti yet, so cannot test for my self  hmm.gif
