BatteryCare is a light weight, freeware tool for optimizing the usage and performance of Laptop’s battery. It monitors the battery's discharge cycles and helps increasing it's autonomy and improving its lifetime.

The program features the following:

Battery Care is compatible with Microsoft Windows XP, and Vista and requires Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 for Windows XP

it can show (see the bottom of the screenshot) but possibly limited to the sensor type.
