Questions for you smile.gif

1) Do you really own ALL the IEMs right now?
2) From all IEMs in your current collection, what is the LEAST used IEMs?

Now, since you have many IEMs, then there will be several IEMs whch you haven't listened to for some period of time. If you pick it up and listened to it now, is it the sound signature same as your last listening session?

Thank you. smile.gif

Thank you for answering my questions. smile.gif. Wow, what a collections. I am guessing that all the IEMs are cost more than RM 10k. smile.gif

I asked the questions because, I really want to relate IEM burn-in with mental adaptation to the sound signature. I am keep using quite high end IEMs for a while, and already forgotten the sound signature of the entry level IEMs, in my case is the NE-7Ms. I just listened to the NE-7Ms after several months, and quite shocked. The upper-mids is dominating, and sometime quite harsh. But, interesting things happened, now it sounded better and better, same as I enjoyed before.

So, IMHO, at certain degrees, our brain/mental can change the sound signature automagically, if we focus enough to the sound smile.gif. I agree with the physical burn-in, but mental burn in is much greater.

Thank you.
