Hey Celciuz,

I'm currently in Infineon Malacca. On a BT there so might be available to hit some balls after work but i'll only be here till friday. My stuff are in the hotel so i think it would be better if can hit in equatorial instead cos they have a nice court there...
*
BT to which segment? I'll be hitting with my colleagues this evening though, just for fun as he's not exactly a tennis player. I'm not any better since I've stopped playing for a bout 3 months already =/

Prae,

I strung my C/Fire all the time 63Ibs leh,but after certain pounding the tension will drop eventually.
Don't say ppl over 30 can only string ard 45-48lbs.
Unless ur shot is like Ah beng, will surely come out pain here & thereĀ  doh.gif
*
Ashaway Crossfire's 63lb only last a while lor. 1 week later maybe become 55 already tongue.gif.

I play 60lb on my npro open. Feels great when string's new. When it is about to break, like 2-3 weeks later. Tension feels like its below 55lb ._.

Ashaway Crossfire not my favourite, but then I'm a chronic string breaker. Best durability/price for me lol.

shop's name is Jenson, owner is Raymond.. was there few hours ago (on way down to JOHOR)... bought 4 packs of Xfire smile.gif. well it's sort of the cheapest string for testing purposes... so i bought 4 to test on the exo3 graphite .. mmm... now come to think of it.. should have gotten another 4 packs.. coz the 4D500 seems very nice strung with crossfire (based on the old setup of the aero500 @ 57lbs. gf luvs it...(maybe on my way back will drop by mlk for lunch again ..haha...)
Oh right, shop's name is Jetson biggrin.gif. Me and my family's racquets all bought and strung by him. Good pricing in Melaka biggrin.gif.

Depends I guess, Crossfire is pretty much comfortable for me. Strung at 60lbs on my 100 sq npro open. I guess not many people are used to kevlar + synthetic combination.

Celciuz how old are you?
Middle age people like me, already one foot in the coffin, cannot take crossfire above 60lbs....I am going to try at 45-48lbs max, will post feedback once I have tried it.
*
Me ar, not young and err not exactly old haha. Just graduated, so you can figure it out.

I never tried k6.1 at 60lbs crossfire before, only tried n6.1 at 59 lbs for 17gage crossfire. Not bad le biggrin.gif.

Poly Blend give me nicer feel than xfire. i also dunno why,
but poly blend tak tahan lama lo.
last time when i play hari hari and it wont last for 1 month..
*
Patt patt, your crossfire don't know can last how long one leh on your old blue racquet tongue.gif.

Prince Poly Blend RM25 one ar? That one, damn fast break. But then most of the time I break on the cross dry.gif instead of the mains ._.

Jetson's stringing sometimes ok, but sometimes the knot not tied properly I think. The strings drop tension too fast. Got once I restring both my racquets for a tournament, one of them tension felt totally different doh.gif . But most of the time its ok, just try not to string when you see there's a huge stack of racquets laugh.gif

Depends on your grip, I use semi western / western (sometimes grip slip tongue.gif), usually my skin tear on the middle finger.

lol, I'm using semi western grip. I'm afraid that I might have use the wrong technique resulting skin peeling on that part lol, been hitting with wall these few days.

Put on plaster or tape it when playing, happens to me if I were to stop playing for a period of time.

I have one of those screw in container to "maintain the pressure" of the balls. Most of the time useless since after one session the ball condition not too good already.

guys, is there any way so that the first serve is consistent?
or what is the easiest way so that it will go in?

Serve at the pace you're most comfortable with, works for me biggrin.gif.
