1) does it worth to buy?
-Depends, some are highly raved, some are just crap.

2) cheaper to buy from the website or buy at local?
-ELF is not sold locally. Also, ELF Asia's way more expensive, so it's cheaper to buy through the US sprees.

3) does the product good? as good as...(what product can compare)......? the quality?
-Again, depends on what you're looking at.

I suggest doing your own research on the items you want, and deciding for yourself, for what some ppl complain about might not be something you care about, or something that ppl love might be something you hate.

blink.gif you saw in MY? Can you remember where?
As I said earlier, their items are hits or misses. I've not tried many of their items yet though, so can't really give you much info.

Hypershine lipgloss was too sticky for me, and I felt that the smell was overly strong, stronger than Rimmel's vinyl lipgloss.

Studio concealer should be ok for someone with light marks, but for me i need to layer it and it doesn't layer on well.

Studio eye primer and liner sealer is a yes/no for me. Primer was ok, but need to blend out well, liner didn't work for me.

Mineral eye primer I have yet to put it to the test as it's not with me atm, but when i swatched it it seemed ok.

Studio complexion perfection would be fine for a fair-medium person like me (I don't know what MAC code I am, but I'm Clinique's Superfit 64) but will give a white cast for fairer ppl or if you're very heavy handed.

personally tried ELF product (got seller in LYN open spree to collect order), for me i alrdy stop buying ELF products after my 1st order. all i can say is not worth to use & buy. the product quality is very very cheap. i rather go for exp a bit so that im satisfied with the product & outcome.

hi,

i tried elf when i just started using make up.

they don't sell it in malaysia but a lot of preorder in lyn so USD1 product is usually around RM6 which is quite cheap smile.gif

i recommend you get the eyeshadow(not the cream one, but the powder one) in mocha swirl coz the brown is really nice for smoky eye. and you can get like the brightening eye shadow pallete with black & silver colors if you want to create the smoky eye look.

i use mac products now but i still use this eyeshadow in brown coz its nice for everyday neutral brown look.

i would not recommend you to get the mascara or the eyeliner. i have the liquid liner and honestly, it sucks. but if you insist on trying, pm me coz i still got the whole thing, only used once. can sell to you for super cheap.

for mascara you should try the relian one. they have it on lyn and its only like less than rm30. and it's really nice effect,

eyeliner i would still recommend mac fluidline/bobbi brown long wear gel liner. smile.gif

hope this helps.

No wonder the price so low, only USD1, but i saw loads ppl order from the LYN US spree..
What brand do you recommend? the price range is around Kate or lower/higher will do..dont think to buy too expensive as i seldom use..
I will take note on this, see whether will buy or not, maybe buy 1-2items for trial..

thx for your advise..

In my personal opinion,
I think that some of ELF products arent bad.
But for all the items you are looking for, I think ELF isn't for you.

Eye Shadow: ELF Brightening Eye Color - as pigmented as the shades are, they have no staying power at all.

All Over Color Stick - http://voguefemme.xanga.com/713862847/elf-...r-stick-review/

Mascara/Eyeliner - From what I've heard from MakeUpAlley, all ELF mascaras are bad. I never tried them but I don't think I will ever be. As for eyeliner, I heard controversal reviews about ELF Studio's Eyeliner & Shadow Stick. So, if you really want an eyeliner from ELF, I would suggest you go for this rather than the other eyeliners. However, Studio range are $3 not $1.

Usually, I don't simply buy just because its considered cheap.
There's a hassel of waiting, anticipating, might go OOS and stuff.
So, I do my research before buying.
I turn to MakeUpAlley and local bloggers who reviewed ELF.

I really love ELF's Luscious Liquid Lipstick (Baby Lips)
I have many lip glosses and this is my favourite by far.

Hi dear,

Personally, I've not tried ELF before. But I would recommend you to try Bobbi Brown. Well, it's expensive but it is worth every single cents that you're paying.

I would recommend you to use the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner (around RM70) and get an Ultra Fine Eyeliner Brush (around RM90-RM100) to go with it. I'm using it now and loving it heaps!

Sometimes it's better to invest in 1 expensive + quality guaranteed product than buying lots of cheaper products. In the end, you might spend more money when you're not satisfied with the cheaper products and keep buying more and more.

So sorry if I'm siding on Bobbi Brown too much, I'm just a big fan of Bobbi Brown.

Good luck in your hunting!

Personally, if you wanna get cheap and pigmented eyeshadow, I recommend you to get NYX Cosmetic. The pigmentation of the product is good and it does not smudge easily. The price is much cheaper compare to MAC,BB.

For eyeliner and mascara, Maybelline and Relvon itself offer good product and affordable. thumbup.gif My opinion, get Maybelline gel liner or Relvon liquid liner. It does not smudge easily smile.gif For mascara, maybelline to offer a good range of mascara. Hope this help.

For ELF Product, ELF Studio are good depends on what you're looking for. But for the price USD3, you may have a try as it do not hurt your pocket.
For Origins and TBS, personally both of this offer good products. If you wanna find body scrub/mask, TBS have a better range. But for facial mask, personally I found that Skinfood or TFS offer a better range of mask. smile.gif
