Greetingz! I just bought a PC-K62 2 days ago from LY.net's Garage Sales for RM280, condition is 9.5/10. Considering the market price for this casing is around RM355+, I'm highly satisfied with the deal.
Anyways, I spent nearly 2 hours to hide all visible cables.
I took off the HDD bay/cage...yes, this casing you can screw the HDD caging out of this case. (or rotate it 90 degrees or so.)
I locate my HDD near the DVD drive, then I installed another 14mm fans above the stock 'blue LED front fan'(I installed it in the area for those extra DVD drive slots, those ones opposite to the GC), therefore having two fans (top and bottom) in the front of the case.
Now that there's no HDD cage/bays, the interior looks and feels spacious, and good airflow to the GC as well.
Why I bought this case???First of all, like anyone else I originally want to get the CM 690, but then it struck me that the 690 has become overrated these days...since a lot people have them, regardless of its popularity.
So instead becoming like those average CM690 chumps, I opt for something else worthy instead, the good Lancool PC-K62.
My opinion of PC-K62...Some say that this case is un-lively or monotonous, but those who speaks such words, usually, are CM HAF's fanboys.
>This case has a certain elegance in terms of its simplicity.
>This case doesn't need to try very hard (like other "fancy" casings) in terms of looks & design since this case has 'manufacturing reputation' from its main Manufacture(LIAN-Li Industrial Co., Ltd)
>The CM690 (supposedly it's market rival) can't show off your new ATi 5000 series since the side fan obscure the view. The PC-K62 have a distinctively-unique shaped side window, probably reflecting the Dragonlord Series.
>Most casings out there advertise themselves to equip with full 'tool-ess' design, but oftenly half-assed delivery. But this casing speak the truth when its advertised with full 'tool-ess' features because I almost have no need for screw-drivers when migrating/transferring my hardware from my previous casings to the PC-K62.
>Built quality is reputable of the Lian-Li's high quality cases.
>Yes the front fan produce noticeable decibels, but come'on! Don't be a 'silence-fascist', a little turbulence noise is always favorable since you know you get adequate airflow into the case. FYI the sound of the fans are soothing, for me..

Like a breeze...
>Man I love those outtake fins on top of the case,

they remind me of a racing car's hood...subtle but yet showing-off its functionality.
Overall, I say this case is
elegantly simple.
If its a car, its not bonkers like a Pagani Zonda or a highly Modified Skyline GTR, BUT a low-profile exquisite Aston Martin DB9 or an
"I'm-not-trying-to-hard" BMW 'M series'
