that SHOULD be a good reason right.. a premium's offered to buy off the shares. etc etc.

oh i won't know for sure. and i definitely hope it's not gonna happen. a delisting doesn't sound good for the stock price (in my case since my ABP is quite high)
usually when privatising a listed company the board of directors will offer a slight premium (maybe 5-10%) in order forthe offer to shareholders to release the shares to be attractive. but that'll usually require quite a big sum of money.
