Tomorrow might be good to trade if ShangHai Composite stabilise ... DJIA +125.75 now...Fed might not adjust the interest rate and everyone is happy about it.

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Aug 13 2009, 01:04 PM) Most of the stock market bloggers got a lot of followers eg uncle Sam, Darlie etc. ...Whenever there is a recommendation, the stock will start to move ====== Today's theme play: XXXLAND Among the smaller cap property counters, Guoco Land added 18 sen to RM1.33, IJM Land 15 sen to RM1.95 and IJM Land-WA 8.5 sen to 76.5 sen, Hunza Property 13 sen to RM1.64. Cocoland, which manufactures and trades in processed and preserved foods, rose 14 sen to 99 sen. another one: MKLand... This post has been edited by Joy~: Aug 13 2009, 01:17 PM |

QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Aug 13 2009, 01:17 PM) Haha...why attack me? what's wrong with MKLand?Anyway...I didnt buy... Added on August 13, 2009, 1:54 pm QUOTE(David_Brent @ Aug 13 2009, 01:43 PM) As a matter of interest, I bought a counter the other week based PURELY on TA which I had reviewed and carried out. It's going to give some dividend, ex date on 2 Sep if not mistaken. 5% It was a counter that I would not normally have bought based upon FA/ my normal buying criteria. It's not a particularly poor/unsafe stock - but the reason I bought it was to see what would happen - over time - based on a decision to buy from a TA perspective only. The stock is MUHIBAH (5703). Wonder if any of our TA gurus on here have run the slide-rule over it and what their thoughts are... I'm still thinking whether to buy or not... QUOTE(nujikabane @ Aug 13 2009, 10:38 PM) Yup, he's the master of warrants, but even he is not answering me. Personally, I think why Bursa-CL up but not the Bursa-CN:LOL I am just using Bursa warrants as example, because that is one that I can think of. Regarding my question, I think the only two reasons of such behavior I could think of are : [1] Human psychology ( <--- thanks God for spellcheck, if not I would have misspelled it, lol) [2] Date of expiry. If the date of expiry is still far away, the volume is low, and less likely to follow mothershare price) I could be wrong, though 1) Bursa-CL got lower premium than Bursa-CN....much lower. For conversion, Bursa-CL is 5:1, 5x0.675+5=8.375; Bursa-CN is 10:1, 10x0.2+7.2=9.2...much higher than its mother share price currently. 2) Bursa-CN was issued last Friday...and currently price is higher than issue price and maybe many ppl will sell for profit. Today is T+4 for Bursa-CN. Just my 2 cent opinion... |

About recession...u will like it if u buy shares after it but not before....no matter what u buy (blue chip or speculative) ..all dropped like shit...u think it's cheap and buy it...but it dropped again to another low...
For example, Maybank...before the mortgage problem in US burst, it's RM11/12...dropped to RM8...u think is very cheap and buy...and it dropped to RM4. If u got margin call to sell, u might lost most of ur capital... If u buy at the bottom...u'll be damn happy...everyday seeing it climb up |
