That's what my workshop is all about. It's about market timing and strategy for better entry and exit. The same method for futures, forex, can be applicable to stocks.

There's always conspiracy but it remains one until its proven a fact. However, TP and SL are very important. If you buy knm for long term, you shouldnt be worried about short term swings. (unless the company goes BK) IF you are a intraday player like myself , then stop loss is important to prevent a major loss in capital. We all take risks when investing in the market. The question is, how much can you lose when you trade?

Usually when the calls of the bears grow louder, typically means the tops are not in place yet.
So if its true then all the GLCs aand small caps have yet to reach its top. |

I advise all contra players to sell and not buy. Shanghai is currently down another 48 points, with 3000 its first main target. Capitulation is not yet here, so expect further downside.

QUOTE(Neon_ @ Aug 12 2009, 07:05 PM) I'm looking for a massive sell down to complete the correction, so far i see yesterday's volume lesser than Tuesday's volume which i think many of the ah mas still holding their stocks and not willing to let go despite the huge drop. But judging from Shanghai intraday performance, i see another leg down. There's massive selling when China reaches positive territory, hinting maybe its previous support has now turned resistance. Technical , and fundamental wise, capitulation will occur pretty soon. Panic selling is just a click away. |

QUOTE(panasonic88 @ Aug 12 2009, 08:22 PM) poor thing. but she should be glad to have you as her mentor. Actually, she made off with profits for knm.i put Mkland in my radar too, if market is coming down. < 40 sens. MK Land: Confident of achieving RM1bn sales CODE MK Land Holdings Bhd expects to hit RM1bn in sales in the near term as it grows double-digit annually over the next five years. It expects sales to breach RM600m next year, buoyed by the Armanee Terrace condominiums and Rafflesia, two core products within its Damansara Perdana township in Selangor. The 3 major projects there, i.e. the Armanee Terrace, Rafflesia and Metropolitan Square, will generate sales of about RM3.5bn over 5 years. (Business Times) Now more on fx though. Malaysian market way too slow. |

QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ Aug 12 2009, 09:08 PM) If you do not know what is Fair Value, you are not deemed to be called " fundamentalists" Yup, technical analysis is art, but fundamentals are factual numbers. Value investing is just buy a very good company at a very cheap price aka warren buffet style.Bcos you dn not understand what is value. having say that, the methods used could be very subjective. So investing is an Art, right ? No offence plse. |

I think to be fair with everyone here, when someone ask for an advise of a stock tip, its best if the person that asks for a tip mention the specific timeframe of his investment. Like Sky and many others have said, entry timing and exit is important. But i do get an impression from this thread that many investors are actually contra players, who want quick profits.
Yes, many who chased quick money will typically give it back. Easy come easy go. Again, no one said trading was easy. What i can do is recommend a forex website about money management and risk management. Hopefully that will shed some light. www.babypips.com |

China tested its 3000 support level and failed miserably. Hang seng is dropping like a rock, now -606.
