I'm looking for a massive sell down to complete the correction, so far i see yesterday's volume lesser than Tuesday's volume which i think many of the ah mas still holding their stocks and not willing to let go despite the huge drop.

But judging from Shanghai intraday performance, i see another leg down. There's massive selling when China reaches positive territory, hinting maybe its previous support has now turned resistance.

Technical , and fundamental wise, capitulation will occur pretty soon. Panic selling is just a click away.

So, am i right to say, the remaining weeks of this month isn't gonna reach 1189, which was the highest to date?

QUOTE(simplesmile @ Aug 13 2009, 08:25 PM)
Some of you were talking about RCECAP. I have also have this stock on my watch list. Recently I read that somebody (from CUEPACS?) was talking about letting their own organization handle the loans and salary deductions. I know the company mentioned was not RCECAP (I think it's ANGKASA), but if CUEPACS gets its way, will this affect RCECAP in the future?

Debbieyss, did you long today? Make good money? My big boss around today, so I couldn't monitor the market. Do you think this time KLCI will break 1,200?
*
I thought today is a good day to short instead? brows.gif

But technically, it seems CI is going down... hmm.gif

It is like saying....if I sai lang everything on one stocks from April to now, I already double or triple my capital already.
Futures are pure speculation.....the moment drop off cliff happens, then whatever you are holding (LONG) will worth nothing, whereas if you SHORT, sky is the limit for your loss
*
Futures also got TA
so it isn't purely speculation

btw, when 7th month Ghost festival start??

Futures can be hold for 1 month, despite how many days the month has.

Different brokerage has different charges

Hong Leong = RM38 per buy sell

OSK = RM50 per buy sell

Well, I dunno how it works out. Maybe you can ask debbie. Could be you still need to pay the difference index points from your contract point
Heard before like what margin call etc....

TA = speculation
FA = investment

Right?

QUOTE(espree @ Aug 13 2009, 11:42 PM)
auto sell after one month huh ? pay the different no matter you lose or win? thank you debbie.
*
you can choose to auto sell at the last working day of the month. For HLE, charge is lower, but I forgot how much.

QUOTE(jasontoh @ Aug 13 2009, 11:42 PM)
Yup. TA is for speculation. You won't be seeing people investing using TA method, although it do helps in giving us the guidelines on the entry price
*
Well, i ask you: have you ever checked out the historical chart of the shares before you buy? The historical highest and lowest price of the share? The reasons it fell? I'm sure you did. All these are TA.

TA is for speculation, no doubt, but with speculation, at least you know the favaour of the shares, without speculation, that would be total zero knowledge and understanding.

Invest with feeling is true speculation instead, my 1 cent, no offence please wink.gif

QUOTE(jasontoh @ Aug 14 2009, 12:07 AM)
Investing is also speculating what will happens in the futures with some baseline(our capital) whereas "Investing" in Futures is sort of gamble. I never say speculation is bad or good.

If you ask whether I checked historical chart for highest/lowest - Yes. For guidelines for my entry points, just in case the stock could be at the peak. But just as guidelines, because if I think the stocks still worth it, I will still go ahead to buy. (Case for Digi when it was at RM8 and consider very "high").
Fundamental analysis is performed on historical and present data, but with the goal of making financial forecasts.
Reason - Yes. This is FA
*
All shares are going up and down according to the trend. Currently, we are having "rising up" trend, shares are moving up. Futures is just buying or selling the average indexes; when the stocks are rising up, Futures rise, vice versa

I'm saying the entire global economic isn't going to recover by 2012.
However, the trend is rising up, it will clash/profit taking but the trend is moving up.
The worst is over, even if it clashes, it won't fall untill 800 point.

QUOTE(aurora97 @ Aug 14 2009, 12:24 PM)
i hope it seriously crashes for once... one last crash for last minute bargains before the new yr comes..

Hopefully it will happen by end of this year
