QUOTE(Ngto @ Nov 30 2009, 01:15 PM) Sorry BD60 doesn't play VCD. For DVD it's region free. Blu-ray is Reg A. thanks for the info. so, its not only Pioneer that doesn't support VCD huh.

QUOTE(Ngto @ Nov 30 2009, 10:30 PM) I wouldn't risk playing VCDs on an expensive player. But then again since it's an Oppo with good quality scaling I guess it's worth some risk. guess u r right. but then again, i just wanna confirm whether ALL BD player doesnt plays VCD, and glad that atleast (so far only) Oppo does.

QUOTE(anfieldude @ Dec 1 2009, 10:20 AM) There are various zoom options on the Oppo. It can do it automatically if u select the right option. There is also a handy underscan option for those with TVs with undefeatable options. Yes, I own the Oppo. anfieldude... thanks again for the info.

sifus... read afew pages back that someone manage to get Panasonic DMP-BD60K for RM599 from SEC.
i called afew of the branch earlier... and they quote me RM1,599. according to the few salesman i spoke to, RM599 is Purchase-With-Purchase price. so just wonder how did you guys get the BD-60 for RM599? which branch you went to? Did you also purchase the LCD tv? eeemmm...
appreciate if someone can enlighten me... thanks.

QUOTE(nazmanson @ Dec 15 2009, 07:07 AM) Last month at SEC Penang they were selling Sony, Pana & Phillip for RM599 and you can just buy the player only. Sony and Pana were selling like hotcakes for Sony only display set left and Pana even the display set was sold you got to wait a couple of days. thanks. but just to confirm, the offer was at all the branches, or just specific branch? so u reckon there will be sales again? that will be great.
