Why you still need to watch ahem & low reso of dvd since you've exposed to HD?? Is it the cost factor of BD disc? I thought once you step into HD world there is no turning back...... hmm.gif ?

ANother option is invest in media player and play those mkvs with tonnes of titles and still far better than ahem dvd in terms of PQ and SQ isnt it?

Wow, the LG BDP looks impressive. Main concern is its pricing. If sails way above 1 grand then it will not b competitive as other consumer brands like Philips, Pana or even Sony have cheaper player.

Just wondering how much improved performance of video & audio it can brings compare to my Panny BD60 when playing actual bluray. I know for dvd it surely makes huge difference coz of its advanced chipset.

Even if you think they are expensive, you cannot buy them now. Oppo 93 & 95 have ceased production and replaced by 103 & 105 which are not cinevia free.
