Homedec PG yesterday, SEC salesman selling sharp bd player at 499. Did not see the player so not sure what model. 599 for the philips and panny. Whats the best price and store for bd player in kl ? SEC ?

sounds fishy la, these SEC fella stole a truckload of BD players is it and selling it off so cheap???

i dun think this price point will even cover their expenses to make the player

no la.... its PWP package deal, maybe with LCD

eg, for sony, buy LCD get discount voucher/option to purchase BDP350 for RM500)

if customer, dont want the BD Player, the shop will take it and sell for RM599 ( profit another RM99 )

there was a similar offer in ipoh too

3thhs back limited stock on s350 was RM1499, 2mths back, RM999, 1 month ago was RM800.... now no news biggrin.gif

yup me waiting also. upgrade firmware is very risky. if blackout during upgrade then ur bdp is paper weight la sweat.gif

btw, for Sony BDP-S350 users
there's a firmware update available,
ver 020 released 4 November

This utility updates the BDP-S350 firmware to version 020 and provides the following benefits:

* Adds slow and freeze frame operation at BDs/DVDs playback.
* Improves compatibility to enhance interactivity with some BD-ROMs
