guys, 1 question regarding dell studio mobile core i7 1.6ghz with  ati 4570 gpu...

can this 1.6 core i7 mobile proc beat those today's decent core 2 quad/extreme proc?

because i7 and core 2 is diff architecture.. just wanna confirm a bit.. if it can has the same performance, then it would be a very good price for that spec range of notebook.
