I'd say we're lucky enough to win coz Birmingham was playing too casual , like they never intended to win the match  unsure.gif
How many time we can see when the ball is in our area & they just don't want to chase the ball just stand there wait our defender (looked like schoked coz they expect to defend but the opposition just don't want to attack  laugh.gif ) to clear the ball easily.

Valancia was great in creating space for himself but his crosses ain't enough of power, so the ball just like floating in the air & thats kinda difficult for our players to attack it.

Oh myyy, I just love Evra  rclxm9.gif

you watched the match ?

birmingham has some decent chances and benitez even has a 1 on 1 saved by foster ...

Another task should be sorted out by fergie is who should take the penalty after carrick failed it ? or give him another chance like rvn, also missed his first penalty but then never look back.

before the season start i already see a very lightweight united midfield after losing ronaldo and tevez ...

i can't see any midfielders now able to lead the attack and score lots of goal like the other 3 clubs have ... lampard, fabregas and gerrard.

to be the champion, once must have a goal scoring midfielder ... last time united has scholes, who clearly off the peak nowadays, then the last 3 seasons has ronaldo ... this season ? anderson, fletcher, carrick ?

I think the whole midfield issue you guys discussing is only temporary matters. Believe me, everything will be back just like normal soon. And everybody wouldn't be discussing the same thing. I saw the reaction here quiet hilarious after one single defeat. That wouldn't surprise me, because i have found the same reaction from most United fan after Charity Shield defeat to Chelsea.. Charity Shield??!!!
*
the problem is not temporary ... united clearly don't have a goal scoring midfielder to replace ronaldo ...

too rely on strikers to get the goals ...

last week fletcher has a golden chance in the box just shot wide ... how could he miss that ?

the only reason for barca to sell messi is when messi no more that good rolleyes.gif , or a proven junk like giovanni dos santos sold to spurs last season

not agree ... it was a superb header by lucas, the best in his career so far ... even buffon or cassilas can't save that ...

my point is..
we sell world player of the year to madrid.. and the madrid rejects (the dutch ccontinent) are available..
and we buy these rejected players from madrid.. ?
sounds like we play second fiddle to madrid.. just dun like the idea..
y not just pay munich wat they want for ribery.. u know they will struggle to get into champions league this season
*
henry also juventus reject but wenger turned him into epl legend rolleyes.gif

its still early into the season, so we cannot judge him based on these matches....

as for Ribery....his problem is his age, SAF is more keen on buying those younger players, and if he's so good, why Bayern did not get decent results these few years?
*
because ribery is not superman, football is 11 men game

it wont be easy match tonite

we must not drop any points, hopefully

so far arsenal strike force much more effective more than our strike force in finding net
