anyways, i remember last season we fought hard playing away against wigan. their pitch was suck last time. i just hope the loss yesterday will wake them up for this weekend game

Manchester United look set to swap Brazilian midfielder Anderson,21 with the rising young talent midfielder Fernando Corez,38 from Atletico Madrid.

"They have asked us for a great deal of money and negotiations are continuing." president Enrique Cerezo told the Catalan television broadcaster TV3. "I believe we'll find a solution."

The swap deal includes an undisclosed fee that will be used from the Cristiano Ronaldo's departure fund, believed to be around £81M, as Sir Alex Ferguson steps up his search in replacing the FIFA World Player Of The Year.

The midfielder who is an established international with 31 caps, will now return to Malaysia to complete the formalities of a visa application to enter the UK to complete the season-long move deal.

Anderson denies that he wants to quit United

Anderson has denied he wants to quit Manchester United but admitted he is frustrated at his lack of first-team opportunities so far this season.

The Brazilian midfielder's only start came in last week's defeat by Burnley - in an unfamiliar left-wing position - and he is reported to have clashed with boss Sir Alex Ferguson after being left out of the team for the Community Shield meeting with Chelsea earlier this month.

Anderson told the Daily Mail: "I believed that I would play in the Community Shield but that is forgotten now.

"I thought that, without Cristiano Ronaldo around, I could to play more and that has been my challenge from pre-season onwards.

"But the coach decides the teams and to discuss this with him is foolish because he is the chief. I do not want to leave United. No.
