I wondering, are the prices now Real Price + Early Adopter's Tax or something?

Cycom is selling for Rm810. Based on 1st post, Taiwan is RM750, I don't have very good memory, but is this the same case when i7 first came out?

What about Proc price. Let's not compare D0 or C0, but say, the general pricing for the newer version, I remember it was 1k+, but I can't recall how much 'tax' was applied.

Still I might be wrong, after analyzing the Tweaktown Video, i7 920 is currently going for NT$9200 - 9400, which goes around RM960, and the current difference is about RM70.

You've got such a kickass rig, but why is your prices all lari one?

There's is like 5 variants of P7P55D. The one referred to in Pc Depot, I suppose it's going for about Rm560 - 570 in garage sales.

Their price ain't bad. But i jumped the gun earlier, by obtaining some Kingmax D9KPT when the prices started to rise. Rm135 per stick.

Hopefully these things can go higher.

Will certainly consider this site when the need comes. Thx

Stuff like this never happens in Malaysia, unfortunately.

MSI to offer a 55% launch-day discount on P55 motherboards

I stand corrected. I really do hope there are stuff like this happening, but if you do recall the time when Phenom 2 came out, the Gigabyte motherboard that has a huge price cut almost immediately went out of stock. Either it's really out of stock, or its the other thing that if mention, would incriminate me.

It just sucks that the i5 procs are overpriced(based on my observation) and the cheaper motherboards aren't for sale yet.

I'd think Nvidia + Ati would work, since it's integration at the hardware level. But the price for the motherboard is rather mind boggling

You mean to say that I could choose either driver for the matchup? Interesting smile.gif

I'm just speculating based on what I've read.

Newegg p55 motherboard Launch Price
Note: Asus Maximus III launch price for $250. You can check the prices at the bottom of lowyat forum.

The higher end the part goes, the higher delta between the price there and here. This is so newbie of me, but was the price delta always this much or is it really because the thing hasn't launch that prices in Garage Sales doesn't look that inviting?

And

Whine: I so wish I live there

Someone should start a proper LGA 1156 thread.

There's nothing wrong with that

QUOTE
Reason for this seems to be an error somewhere in the Intel HQ, which stated to distributors that they could sell the products, but not advertise that they had them
